I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Lowe's in April 2014.

Interview Details – Company scheduled interview based on application filed on their website.
I arrived at the appointed site, 15-20 minutes EARLY, for the interview and was given a two page written job description I was interviewed by a supervisor and an assistant manager.

Interview Question – A number of the questions were unrelated to the job as described on their documentation, or my work experience as stated on the job app.   Answer Question

I applied online and the process took 3 days - interviewed at Lowe's in February 2014.

Interview Details – Interviewed in Sikeston, Missouri very plain and unprofessional interview full of questions asked from a piece of paper that looked to be a script. Also they seemed very racist as well I know for a fact that I was well qualified for this job with my past work experience but got a thanks but no thanks email. Im very eager to see who was chosen over me in the hiring process. But I would expect nothing less in the Rasict town of Sikeston, Missouri

I applied online and the process took 5 days - interviewed at Lowe's in February 2014.

Interview Details – Filled out survey online, Was called for interview a few days later, told interview was at 11AM. Arrived at 10:50, was told to wait, and she would be right out. Stood there for 25 minutes and they contacted her again. She finally comes out 5 minutes later.. If I showed up 20 minutes late for the interview would they have hired me?

Interview Question – All behavioral questions, very easy, Answered them with ease. They declined me, At this point In my opinion the only reason is my age.   Answer Question

Interview Details – Application is done online; you will first do an interview with HR manager, followed by ASM, followed by Store Manager. If you do well in the interview process, you will receive an offer, followed by a drug test and background check.

I applied online and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Lowe's in April 2013.

Interview Details – It started after I applied, they gave a telephone call two days afterwards. I came in for an interview after that, and was hired on Monday. The interview was short, lasting about 30 minutes time with a member of HR as well as one of the managers of the store. The questions were as expected, general questions that you would expect in an interview. It was a simple process that didn't take very long and was effective at highlighting strengths and weaknesses.

Interview Question – One of the questions involved what your response was to a situation in which you had to satisfy a customer beyond their expectations. I asked since I didn't have experience if it could be with a friend in a classroom setting and they said yes.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – I have school and needed vacation time the week after I started the job. They were very flexible with work until I finished school. They also gave me four days off so that I could take my vacation.

I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Lowe's in January 2013.

Interview Details – I applied online (nearly every position must be initially applied for online) and received a phone call from HR 5 days later. We chatted briefly, mostly small talk, and set up an interview for the next day.

The first interview was one-on-one with the HR manager and lasted about 45 minutes. The questions were straight forward: tell me about yourself, what are strengths/weaknesses, why do you want to work for Lowes. Six or seven questions involved "Tell me about a time when........." and "Describe a situation in previous jobs were you.......". Since this is a retail operation most questions were related to dealing with customers. After the interview we scheduled a second interview for 3 days later.

The second interview was also one-on-one with the Assistant Store Manager and also lasted about 45 minutes. I was again asked "Why Lowes?" and then asked more "Describe a situatiuon where...." and "Tell me a time when...." but was also asked to describe in detail what happened after you took the specific action and would you handle the situation the same the next time.

I was contacted a week later with a job offer.

I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at Lowe's in October 2012.

Interview Details – I was asked various questions about times I had to deal with customers under different circumstances and how I handled them. I was interviewed twice on the first day. I'm currently waiting on a third interview. The interviewers were very easy to talk to and the process was simple. They ask that you pull from previous job experiences as well as school and other group activities that you can remember to help answer these questions.

Interview Question – Tell about a time you gave a customer wrong information and the customer has already left; How did you respond once you realized your mistake   Answer Question
