Horrible! The VP of Security was watching TV and had kept it on. He judged me before he knew me or my work ethic. He spent most of the interview talking about Unions! I don't give a about unions so I don't know about them, but even after I told him he kept talking about them! I am going to keep looking even if I do get hired there.

Two interviews. One with immediate supervisor, and second one with supervisor and the V.P. The interviews were very average and nothing out of the ordinary. Interviews were a positive experience.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at MGM Resorts International.

    Interview Details

Very detailed and focused on experience and capabilities of candidate. Went through one on one interview as well as interviews with VP, Retail HR, random Store Manager, and small panel interview. Most questions were redundant but were focused on customer service experience. They were fine with my lack of management experience and relied heavily on the referral I received.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeksinterviewed at MGM Resorts International in August 2014.

    Interview Details

I applied online and was contacted within a week to come and interview for a lounge cocktail server position at a Las Vegas property. The interview was in person, one on one with the lounge manager. I was offered a position on the spot. Once I was "offered" a position, I then went through background check and drug tests. After everything checked out, I went back to the property to review and accept my job offer. The process in whole took 6 weeks from time of the offer until my first day of orientation.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at MGM Resorts International in August 2014.

    Interview Details

They had the most unique interview I've ever been through. They called it "Adventure Dome Idol" and told us that we were "auditioning," not interviewing. We had to dance, do customer role-play, create a skit with other people, and we got to ride a ride for free. After all of this, we had an interview alone.

    Negotiation Details
There was no negotiation at all. They were entirely inflexible. It was either you go do these orientations these days and times or you don't get the job, no matter what your excuse.
