I applied online. The process took 4 daysinterviewed at MassMutual in July 2013.

    Interview Details

I applied online through indeed.com on Friday and got a phone interview on Monday. We then set up 1 on 1 interview on Wednesday. The interview lasted for about less than 1 hour. It was just me and recruiter in a meeting room having conversation. I was pretty nervous because i don't really have much formal interview experience. The recruiter is cute and respectful.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at MassMutual in June 2013.

The company posted a job opening on an online site and I sent in my resume and received a call the very next day. After talking for about 5 minutes, we setup a face-to-face interview for the following week. I had two in person interviews, and the manager was very friendly and explained how the company worked, what the position looked like, etc.

I had a phone interview with-in a few days of submitting my resume. Simple questions, getting to know you. Then scheduled an in-person interview. Nothing out of the ordinary or unexpected durring the process. Told me I needed to complete a personality test online and if I passed, then I would be called back for a 3rd and 4th interview. I did not pass the personality test. Not sure if I would have accepted the offer, seemed to heavy on commission and sales and how many contacts I have in the area.

    – Came in for a 1:1 interview with recruiter, very friendly, went over resume and asked standard questions. There were two additional online tests sandwiched around the interview, a 45 minute test with some IQ type questions and a second test that simulated the customer service cal center position. Second interview consisted of overview of job with other candidates and then a ~30 min interview with two hiring managers. Mood was professional but relaxed

I applied in-person. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at MassMutual in February 2012.

    Interview Details

Many different interviews, including a panel. Does not look like one person coordinated or talked woth others, about the candidates or the position. Left doubts who was running the place. Watch IT jobs, most IT jobs are in the business not in IT.

    Interview Questions
    • There was no difficult questions, but since this company s not cost or schedule driven, I suggest ou talk about scope.   View Answer

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 daysinterviewed at MassMutual in January 2012.

The company is very young and enthusiastic about opportunities they have for the right candidate. They emphasize consistently that there is no pay upfront but that if you stay in a few years there will be a lot of pay for less work. They pay for half of your insurance license and upon hired you are trained for 4 days before you bring clients in. Nice office. NIce work culture.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a dayinterviewed at MassMutual in May 2011.

    Interview Details

The interview consisted of four 1:1 interviews, all with actuaries from different departments. After the first two interviews, I had lunch with two Actuarial Students who recently became FSA's. The interviews on the whole were straight forward; one of the interviewers didn't even really ask me standard questions, we just ended up in a discussion about one of my volunteer experiences. The first 1:1 interview was 45 minutes, the other three were 30 minutes. A few business days later, someone from HR called me and told me that MassMutual would not pursue my application.
