Interviewed at McDonald's

Interview Details – From date of applying to date to hire was ~ 5 days, Had an interview and the questions they asked were very simple and nothing out of the ordinary. Common sense to get out of the trick personality questions. EX: If you saw someone drop food on the floor would you stop them from serving it.

Interview Question – None, the interview was very easy to get though and don't test your knowledge.   Answer Question

I applied through other source and the process took 5 days - interviewed at McDonald's in May 2012.

Interview Details – A survey was made of the medical schools in the United States to obtain a description of the interview process used in the selection of first-year medical students. The following questions were the basis for the study: What is the role of the interview in the selection of medical students? What is the nature of the interview process? How is the interview administered? An 87 percent response rate was obtained. The results indicated that 99 percent of the responding medical schools use interviews in evaluating students for medical school admission, and the interview ranks second only to the grade-point average in importance among four selection factors. The interview is usually in a one to one setting, with each applicant having two separate interviews. All schools use faculty and staff members in interviewing, and usually at least one admissions committee member interviews each applicant. Usually interviews are conducted on the campus of the school. Implications drawn from the results indicate a need for a quantification of methods to incorporate the interview into the selection process.

I applied in-person and interviewed at McDonald's.

Interview Details – The hiring and interview process was not organized and I felt like it was a waste of time. The manager did not seem experienced in giving interviews. I was told to show up at a specific time, and when I did the manager was not prepared.

I applied online and the process took 2 days - interviewed at McDonald's in June 2009.

Interview Details – They ended up calling within two days of submitting an application and asked for an in-person interview. The interview itself was done within the restaurant with the manager, and mostly revolved around casual questions regarding your current situation, as well as personality. They also seemed to gauge during the interview what position you would be most suited for, as far as working the registers or food preparation.

Interview Question – While there were no really difficult questions, some can be unexpected in an interview, such as what are seven things you do after you wake up to prepare for the day. This seemed like an indirect way of checking the hygiene of prospective employees without directly asking them about their habits.   Answer Question
