Honestly, if you got an interview for Mcdonald's, you've got the job! I walked in wearing jeans and a T-shirt, I sat down with the General Manager, and he asked me a few questions. The whole process was about 15 minutes. He asked about 10 questions, and they were always "what would you do?" scenarios. Like, "what would you do if you saw a lady carrying a baby, but you were waiting to give her a tray?" You answer "I would let her find a seat and place it on the table for her." just simple simple questions. I got hired on the first interview, but shortly after I got hired, they started doing 2 interviews. If you got a call, you have the job! don't stress.

    Interview Questions
    • I can't remember them all, but they were SO easy. Just very simple questions about what you would do. They're not in depth questions. Some questions I even said "Oh, definitely agree." They weren't difficult.   Answer Question

It was nice. It was quick and simple. I received a call shortly after. I just needed quick money for the time being and this was the most convenient solution for me. The interview lasted about twenty minutes. Not long .

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 daysinterviewed at McDonald's in January 2015.

    Interview Details

I was interviewed through an employee referral - my cousin. One of the manager told me which is also my friend that it is really helpful to have connections inside but they pretty much hire anyone as long as you're capable and interested of the job.
I applied online and on the next day the manager told my cousin to tell me to come in on monday. The interview took place in the middle of the dining area along with the customers The manager ask me some expected questions about my career, availability and future goals. Afterwards she told me I got the job, but only part time and I should earn my way if I wanted to be a full time employee - be a manager or be her top performer.
She ask me if I want a coffee or something to drink and I didn't hesitated to say yes. She hand me a paper and told me to go to the address she wrote for my orientation and take an exam for a food handlers card. She told me to call her if I did and finished her instruction or if I have any questions.
My advice is to be prepared and be relax. Give the interviewer a firm hand shake and thank him/her for his/her time. DON'T FORGET TO SMILE.

The interview and the hiring process is really easy. They basically just hire you because most employees just come and go. If you're available and the store is you're applying is almost always busy, then you just get the job. They ask you when you're available and that's pretty much the whole interview.
