The root of the questions are STAR format although some of the interviewers made it more like a discussion than others. Many of the questions were focused on determining leadership skills. The interviews took place in the office, both in person and via phone/teleconference. I met with multiple different people on the first day and had a follow up with one person about a week and a half later.

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at Medtronic (Minneapolis, MN).

    Interview

My interview process consisted of a conference call with different people with whom I'll work together in the summer. I really enjoyed it, they were very friendly and asked some questions about my previous projects, programming languages and other stuff. After that, it was a little bit painful because the company running the international background check was very disorganized which cost me a few gray hairs.
