I applied online and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Medtronic in September 2012.
Interview Details – I applied online via the Medtronic website and received a response immediately for a phone interview. While the phone interview lasted about 40 minutes and went quite well I did not get brought in to the face to face round. The recruiter I spoke with was very enthused and told me she would like to bring me in but had to check with the hiring manager first and then I didnt hear anything for weeks. I sent a follow up email a week after the phone interview to check on the status and received no response. Finally 3 weeks later I received an automated message thanking me for my interest but they had filled the position.
Interview Question – There weren't many difficult questions but it was rather open ended. She was mostly curious to have me explain my experience and how it applied to the position. Answer Question
