3 interviews, phone, 1 on 1, and group. Friendly, and laid back. The hiring manager was very young, but has been doing her job for awhile. The process went well.

The whole process was run very well and smooth. I was kept updated and the follow up steps to hiring was all great. I am happy with everything that went on from the recruiter to the management at the facility and senior level. The process involved a Green Interview, Panel Face-to-Face and a conference call.

    Interview Questions
    • Safety questions were expected as well as how you manage employees and most were based on them so its hard to pinpoint any certain questions.   Answer Question

I applied online – interviewed at MillerCoors in March 2014.

It only took about two weeks from the time I put in my application to hear back (but as an employee I later found the hire in cycles, so it really depends on when you hit the cycle if you will get called back as soon as I did or months later). I went through an on the phone screening and then two interviews to get the initial job. Each interview on a different day, about a week apart. I was called back one week after the final interview.
To interview for a promotion later in my employment I went through three interviews within a week period and was informed a week later.
The interview process was one of the most trivial I have ever had with basic questions for the initial, and the promotion interview was much more in depth with case-based questions.

    Interview Questions
    • Initial interview to get hired on = very simple, basic, typical interview questions.
Promotion interview later in career = case-based questions.

Hardest one, as usual, was "What is your biggest fault." (because you want to be honest and give a valid answer but do not want to raise red flags) So nothing out of the ordinary.

I applied through other source. The process took 7 weeksinterviewed at MillerCoors.

    Interview Details

I found out about the position before it was posted through those that I knew in the distributor network. Do you homework - talk to some folks that might be in the know.
I then met with the local market GM to discuss the position, him to get to know me a bit. I was then contacted roughly two weeks later to set up an interview date. About 48 hours prior to the interview I was given a business scenario that I needed to put together a presentation around - specifically around the position that I was applying for in the market.
I went to the meeting and discovered that not only was the GM there, the person who would be my boss and the person who I was backfilling for were all there.
I made the presentation and the total interview took nearly 3 hours. I then did not hear from anyone for roughly two weeks, then was invited out to a function with the hiring manager and met his team. After roughly another two weeks, I was then contacted again with my offer. Total time for all this process was about 7-8 weeks from start to finish.

    Interview Questions
    • The business scenario was specific to the position so I will not answer this however I found that there were questions asked of me about how one would handle a drunk customer at an event, a coworker that was suspected of having a substance issue, etc.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
I had provided my salary information to the team during the interview and the hiring manager called me about an hour before my FedEx package with my offer arrived. He asked if XX salary was ok and it was more than I had told them I needed. Made me happy.
