I applied through an employee referral and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at NBCUniversal in March 2009.

Interview Details – Referred to internship by former supervisor at NBC Olympics. Consisted of an initial phone screen, followed by an additional phone interview with two employees one week later. Invited back for an in-person interview the next month, offer was extended in person. Work was meaningful on some days, redundant on others. Compensated for travel expenses, but no additional compensation is given to NBC interns. Required that I get course credit at my college to make up for lack of pay.
