I got interview call through a consultancy. They scheduled a telephonic round first. It was easy, they just asked about my current work and some basic c++ questions. Next they called for face to face round. They asked very basic c++ questions and questions about my previous project. Aftre few days i called back to consultancy to know my application status, unfortunately I was not shortlisted for next round. Reason for rejection is unknown.

    1. applied online
    2. a call from hr to setup an interview
    3. first interview with a nice old guy (near 60 yrs old i think), he was asking some basic C/C++ questions (C - mostly memory management and pointers manipulation, C++ - difference between virtual and pure virtual method, stl iterator types, operator overloading) and asked me to present some algorithms in pseudocode (can't remember exactly, but something like reversing a linked list and one sorting algorithm), few days after the interview I got an email, they said I did well and I should come to another interview
    4. Interview with a developer, first question he asked was to analyze some assembler code, after that (I didn't do very well with assembler) he asked if i know something about differences in C structures memory alignment with different compilers, he wasn't happy with my answer
after that he asked me some questions about my studies (I was a student back then) and the interview was over
    5. after few days got an email - they thanked me for applying and didn't hire me of course

I felt like the guy from step 4 didn't know that i was applying for a junior C++ developer

I was expected to be interviewed for I&V Engineer as it was discussed with the HR Lady. When I arrived to the company I was informed that I will be interviewed to 3-5 teams by quite many people. Fortunately there were 4 of them only and only 3 different teams. They came to intervie me even after I told to HR, that I'm not interested to work in their departments and with their technologies. This was pretty confusing and I should quit the interview immediately. Unfortuately I stayed. I was asked questions related to different fields and topics. I got the feeling that I'm in some quiz show and started looking for hidden cam. The whole process was odd. I just stopped answering questions and stopped discussing. Just wanted to finish the interview and go home. I know that I failed it, however I've got the information that even if they not decide to employ me, they will let me know about that in 2 weeks. They didn't sent any information. And after a month I've got questionaire from NSN to give them feedback about the process. And that was the only positive thing. I wanted to learn something.
I was working for NSN previously and was headhunted for the interview I'm describing. They've just reminded me why I left them. They are treating people like kids in primary school.

questions were of medium standard inwritten rounds ,but required bit of calculation speed. there weren't group dicussions, and written tests were followed by technical interview. technical questions were mainly from c programming and were not too tough but required clarity of concepts. then some questions were based on resume and two questions came from communication domain, like frequency of transmission kinda questions.
