Conductor Trainee Interview (Neutral Experience; Easy Interview)
I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at Norfolk Southern Railway in March 2012.
Interview Details – Two hour long presentation going over job specifics (both positive and negative). Given break so those who didn't like what the job entails can leave without hurting their chances for other positions. Given test that consisted of reading comprehension, mechanical skills and personality test. Waited around 90 minutes to post who would be given an interview (around 150 started out and 30 made it to interview). Interview was simple were pretty much rehashed from the online questions that I had already answered in the application.
