    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ monthsinterviewed at Northwestern Medicine.

    Interview

The process is painfully long and frustrating. You might be contacted by HR 3 months after initial application, then brought in by the department for an interview. My first interview with one Department went extremely well, and I was told by one person high on the decision making chain "Clearly you are the right person for the job. No one else has your experience. I'll make sure we get you on board ASAP." Then after hearing nothing further for 2 weeks I had to follow up to find the position was filled because someone knew somebody. Then I was called to interview for another department (again, 3 months after applying) and after another month with 2 rounds of interviews, still waiting. Almost not worth it.

    Interview

The operations interviewer was really nice and helpful. She asked me a few questions that related to my clinical experience and my strengths and weaknesses. She asked me if I had any questions in addition to anything she didn't cover and she was very detailed with her answers. I had the opportunity to meet different managers on the unit including the operations manager and two other managers who were also very nice as well.

    Interview

I applied online through the career site. It took about 2 months for someone from HR to contact me for a Phone interview. I passed that and went in for an in person interview about a week later. Pretty easy and laid back interview. I then was asked to take a test to make sure my excel skills were up to par. I did not hear anything for about a month and a half. Assumed I did not get the position. After waiting this length of time I was contacted by phone by HR saying they were pursuing other candidates

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Northwestern Medicine (Chicago, IL) in June 2014.

    Interview

Applied online and received an email 8 weeks later stating they were seeking other candidates. 4 weeks after that I received a phone call from HR to see if I was still interested. I came in for 2 separate interviews, one with HR and the other with 2 supply chain managers. After my interviews I was told I'd receive a case study to complete. The case study was never sent and I received a phone call from HR 3 weeks later informing me for a second time that they are pursuing other candidates.

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Northwestern Medicine.

    Interview

Applied online, completed phone screen. Then called in for interview with Director, and a 2nd interview with a physician at the practice. I assume I did not get the job; but no one ever followed up and formally rejected me. The same thing happened with someone else I know that interviewed for a different position. They do not let you know if you were not selected, even when you have interviewed in person.
