I applied through other source – interviewed at Northwestern Mutual.

    Interview

Initial interview, online personality profile, and an in-depth interview are just a few of the many steps involved in the hiring process. I was given an appointment for an "initial interview" by a recruiter at a job fair. She essentially made her pitch to sell me on the job and the company. She asked me some questions about myself, basically to gauge if I was good fit for the job, and if I should continue to the next step in the process. To get the next step you have to fill out 2 online surveys, which they send you the link to complete from home. One is a personality profile and one is a culture index. Then you get scheduled for an "in-depth" interview with the branch manager. I was sent the links and given an appointment for my in-depth interview, but decided no base salary was a deal breaker so I cancelled the next interview. She made a good pitch, the company and their products sound wonderful, but I just couldn't swallow not have a secure income since I have a family to think about.

    Interview

invited me in for an information session and explained the company and what it was about. To me it seemed like a scam exploiting my friends and family try to sell insurance to them. Didn't bother compiling a list and looked for an internship somewhere else

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Northwestern Mutual (New York, NY) in February 2015.

    Interview

Took about three weeks after applying online to schedule an interview. I scheduled it at 3:00PM but they called 30 minutes in advance. I could not pick up at the moment so I gave it a wait. Never received a call again so I emailed the recruiter explaining the situation and asking for an alternative option and she just told me "we called but you did not receive it. You also didn't have a voicemail set up". I told them I am no longer interested.

    Interview

They try to sell how its a top internship in the country. They don't say that you have to try and get your friends and family to sign up for their insurance. You aren't given any leads. Compensation is all commission based so they don't lose any money if they don't like you.

    Interview

Simple. just intro myself and talked about status, Y/N of full time, previous my history of resume, and home work. Everything was fine, but I don't like to do homework from the interveiw, so I didn't do it. But if someone likes to do that, it might be good experience

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Bellevue, WA) in February 2015.

    Interview

I applied for the position via Craigslist, but the company name was not disclosed. I was able to find the email address for a number of recruiters there to send my resume and cover letter to. I received a call from a recruiter after a number of emails had been exchanged. I made it through the phone interview and was instructed to take a candidate screening test, which posed a lot of self-reporting, paradoxical questions. I was then asked in to the first in-person interview where I met with the recruiter and the office manager. I was told I'd be asked back for a second in-person interview with the financial representative I would be assisting. I have not heard back from them yet but was told they've been slow about the process.
