    Interview

Took 2 weeks to receive a response, sent an automatic email letting me know other candidates were better qualified. Standard rejection email from an HR office. Encouraged to apply to other positions.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Cambridge, MA) in April 2015.

    Interview

Recruiter contacted me and I was submitted, within the hour she called back telling me I was chosen for a phone screen the next day, which based on results top candidates would get face to face interviews on Friday. Was called on Tuesday by 2 employees, my screen was scheduled for 30 mins, turned out to be 45. I called recruiter after to let her know how it went, we both agreed things looked good so I cleared my schedule for Friday, figuring on a face to face interview. Wednesday afternoon went by and no word from recruiter - emails to her said no feedback yet from Novartis. Thursday rolls around - no word to recruiter. Following Tuesday, recruiter calls me apologizing (and angry) - Novartis finally sent her an email that job was never funded to begin with! So they only wasted my, the recruiters, and 2 employees time in phone screening me. So BEWARE OF FAKE JOBS!!!

    Interview

The interview process included a phone screen with HR, a Skype type interview with the Hiring Manager and a live interview with two Regional Directors and HR. It was a fairly drawn out process with the live interview having to be re-scheduled.

    Interview

Panel of interviewers and interview with hiring manager. Two interviews, fairly straightforward questions. Behavioral type stuff with HR. More matter of fact get to know you with hiring manager. That's it. That's all I remember. Stop torturing me.

    Interview

Started with a short on site interview and was asked for references. But no follow up whatsoever. No replies for email inquiries either. Overall the interview was not professional as you never heard back from the hiring manager. Nor did she ever reply your emails.

    Interview

Long drawn process with multiple interviews and panels. Unclear on hiring decision timing. Interesting to see the dynamics between interviewers. Lack of communication and not level setting expectations from the interview process was evident based on the questions that were asked during the interviews.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ monthsinterviewed at Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Cambridge, MA).

    Interview

I applied online and after 2 weeks I talked to the hiring manager over the phone. He was friendly and professional and we talked about my skills and past experience.
After a month I went for on-site interview. Surprisingly, I did not know the schedule until two days before, so it was difficult to arrange for acceptable transportation. Even more surprisingly, Novartis did not provide any lunch or assistance to get one, although 'lunch' word was on the agenda. Moreover, the hiring manager turned out to be an intimidating person, or I should say, was the master of intimidation. Fortunately, everyone else was just opposite - professional and friendly. I left with very mixed filings.
Despite I was disappointed with the image of Novartis I still decided to follow up - wrote a nice letter to the manager asking how things move. Zero response for next two months. Probably my email ended up in spam, how otherwise lack of response for such a long time can be explained??? By the way, they never reimbursed my expenses I had during the interview.
EDIT: to be fair - I just got the reimbursement check.

Importantly, after couple more months Novartis re-posted the same job description under a DIFFERENT Job Title and number; an entry level position this time!!! Cannot make up your mind, or too busy with internal reorganizations?

What a cool example of good business conduct.

    Interview

Called in for interview. Was interviewed by three groups consisting of four in each group. They asked
some very good questions that I was prepared for, but they did ask one question I had never heard before that was challenging.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Novartis Pharmaceuticals (East Hanover, NJ) in July 2014.

    Interview

Very formal. Very usual questions, nothing innovative. Interviewers followed a pre-set format in some instances and in others they just winged it. Too long, and too many people to see.
