Interview Details – Call down to OCBC Chualia Street HR for interview. Went through first round of interview with HR with several standard questions from HR. Mostly scenario type of questions, on top of basic question regarding strength & weaknesses. The questions are tricky as they question your ability to handle scenarios that are crucial in banking. Have not heard from them further for second round.

Interview Details – The hiring process took 10 days for the HR to contact me. An interview was arranged and questions were mainly competency based. Nothing fanciful but a word of cautious, they seemed to be very particular about your volunteer work and customer service. Also you have know why you wanted this programme and the specific job function.

Interview Details – Was asked to arrive 10mins earlier to do a one page personality test. After which was directed by the recruiter into the interview room with another candidate. There was another department manager for the interview as well. so it was a 2 vs 2 scenerio. It was quite awkward. At the end of the day, the other interviewee got the job (initially she was rejected but she lamented to an employee in the company and so it does magic). This shows that no matter how much you prepare for interview, it is all about networking and connections.

HR interview is quite standard: Tell me about yourself, Details about your previous academic projects and internship. Btw, dont forget to elaborate about your ECA as well.
