I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group.

    Interview

Interviewed with the Vice President Branch Manager and Manager. The interview lasted for approx 1 hr and 30 mins. This particular branch was a very team oriented branch and were very respectful of considering the branch as a team. Confidence is key.

    Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group.

    Interview

Mixer the night before with other candidates, then an interview the following day which was largely behavioral. There were no difficult technical questions or really any technical questions at all. While several candidates waited to be interviewed by a more senior interviewer, a recent hire sat in the waiting room with us, ostensibly to offer advice.

    Operations Specialist (Midnight) Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Itasca, IL) in August 2015.

    Interview

After applying online I received a call from HR to fill out an application and an assessment. The links were emailed to me. After completing the assessment I was to call the HR contact back so she could look up the results. I was told that I passed and she set up an interview for me. Because this was a midnight shift I had a 12:30am interview. I showed up at the building and had entry into the vestibule but needed to ring an outside bell a couple of times before someone showed up. I told the guy that I was there for an interview with Denise. He let me in and told me to wait. About five minutes passed and the same guy with another came out to greet me and say that the manager was not there. I was to be called by HR and rescheduled. So, they proceeded to take me into a small conference room and we talked casually about each of us. They jotted down a few notes on a form. Then, after about 10 minutes I was asked if I wouldn't mind coming back another time for an interview with the manager. What could I say but "yes". So, that was the interview. I never received a call back from HR or the manager for another appointment. I contemplated calling to see what was up but already decided I didn't want to work there after experiencing this disregard. Finally, I received the usual rejection email stating that I am no longer being considered for the position. They have several openings out there, entry-level paying scraps, and I can't see why they wouldn't want a hard working person. I'm willing to put in extra hours and work the off shifts. There was another rating posted about this happening to them. I'm wondering if this is some sneaky way of discriminating against age, race, etc., without experiencing the official interview. I smell a rat.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Itasca, IL) in July 2015.

    Interview

Apply to job online. Within two weeks received a call from HR in Pittsburgh. Following two days later HR from Massachusetts called to schedule an in-person interview. Since it was a midnite shift the interview time was 12:30am. When I arrived for the interview I was not expected. It seemed the manager was off and HR was to have called to reschedule. I had two workers take me in a conference room for a casual talk. After about 10 minutes I was told I would need to come back to interview with the manager. That was a week ago. No call from anyone at either HR or the manager. Does anyone else realize how unprofessional that was? Does anyone else realize how inappropriate it is for a non-management person to conduct an interview? That opens the company up to all sorts of legal issues if there are the wrong questions answered. It makes me wonder if it is a common practice of theirs.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Rosslyn, VA) in June 2015.

    Interview

The interview process isn't bad, the messed up part is that you need to interview 2 times. Typically one time with the branch manager and one time with the regional manager. Whats messed up is that if your doing an internal transfer, you have to do the same thing. The whole process takes between 3 to 5 weeks.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group.

    Interview

There was one over the phone interview and two in person interviews. The final round was a surprise panel interview with a financial advisor, bank manager and regional manager. Most of the questions were about relationship building and "tell me about a time when." I think my mistake was not living close enough to the location, they seemed concerned about my commute.

    Branch Financial Sales Consultant Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Alpharetta, GA) in May 2015.

    Interview

Applied for a position in Alpharetta, GA. The hiring process was drawn out way to much; by far the longest process I have ever experienced. I first applied 2 months ago and received a phone call by the HR recruiter shortly after. Two weeks after the initial phone screening, I was set up for a interview with the Branch Manager. Keep in mind that this is essentially an Front-Line employee position, unlike any other bank, I had to interview with the Regional Manager. For what reason? They claim she is hands on and wants to know everyone. The Regional was on vacation the following week so I had to wait 1 1/2 weeks before I was able to interview with her. After this interview, she then wanted me to drive to another branch to meet a different Branch Manager; different than the one I originally met with. This whole process not to be offered the position. The hiring process was completely to drawn out and a lot of wasted time to not be offered a position. This definitely sheds a negative light on wanting to work for this company in the future. Probably would never apply for PNC Bank again.
