PNC Corporate Or Investment Banking Summer Analyst Intern at PNC Financial Services Group

No Offer – Interviewed in Jan 2011 – Reviewed Jan 26, 2011

Interview Details – I applied online through my school's career services office for the summer internship position at PNC. I was offered an interview, but PNC later cancelled the interview and rescheduled it for 2 months later.

The interview itself was with two employees of PNC, one was a VP of something and the other was much younger. The interview largely consisted of "fit" questions. Basic things like "why banking?" and "what makes PNC different?"

There was a small selection of more technical questions, but very basic still concerning basic banking topics.

Interview Question – What might some difference be in how a bank's balance sheet looks during a recession versus during a more standard business climate.   Answer Question
