Treasury Management Interview

Treasury Management
Philadelphia, PA

I applied through college or university and the process took 3 days - interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group in February 2012.

Interview Details – Went through one interview by PNC campus recruiter and was invited to Super Day. Had 3 interviews, all 2 on 1. Good mix of technical and behavioral questions. Good idea to review financial statements and bank's roles in the recession.

I applied through college or university and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group in November 2011.

Interview Details – The first interview was held on campus and it was pretty informal. They genuinely seemed interested in getting to know me as a person, only talked about one thing on my resume, which was a Sales job I had back in high school. The interview only lasted about 15 minutes so I wasn't sure what to really expect. I got invited to their Superday in Chicago and this consisted of 3 interviews throughout the day. Each interview was designed to test a certain trait/ quality about you communication, analytic skills, leadership etc. These interviews were also pretty casual and the interviewers seemed very friendly.

Interview Question – When trying to invest in a company, which financial statement do you look at?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – I was able to ask for a two week extension on my deadline to accept the internship. If you have other offers pending, I would just ask them as they seemed pretty understanding.

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group in October 2010.

Interview Details – I had a phone interview, followed by an invitation to a large (80+ applicants for 4 different departments) interview day. This consisted of a night of mingling, and "speed-dating" interviews the next day. These interviews were scheduled, 15 min sessions with 2 managers/directors each. The questions were mostly fit with a few technical ones mixed in. The interviewers have lunch together afterward, so they make the decision the day of the interviews. I received a call after the weekend. The people were all very friendly, but the setting is very structured and formal.

Interview Details – Met them at the career fair at my University. Got an interview on-campus, which was 20 minutes (very relaxed, just went over my resume). After the on-campus interview, they flew me out to Philly where I went through 3 group/panel interviews. The interviews were fairly easy, really nice people to talk to.
