I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at PSEG in October 2014.

    Interview Details

Very troublesome. Was interviewed over the phone, and sent an automated email the next day saying I was rejected. Of course, they would call a week and a half later for me to drive up to North Jersey and pretend the previous email had never happened. When they cancelled on me the morning of, I told them I couldn't reschecule for a week and their reply was basically come in later this week or not at all. So I didn't. Don't work for them.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeksinterviewed at PSEG.

    Interview Details

I applied online and reached out to the recruiter via LinkedIn. A week later, I was screened by HR and given all the info. I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, and called back for an on site panel interview with 3 of the position's peers. I went back for a 2nd on site with the hiring manager and his VP.

Everyone I met was very nice and knowledgeable in their areas and what they needed from the position. The company had a comfortable atmosphere and seemed like a great place to work.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at PSEG in September 2014.

    Interview Details

I had contacted the staffing agency via email. A 'Talent Acquisition Specialist' got back to me with more details, spoke to my references and set up an interview date. I was interviewed by 3 managers and breifly by the head of the division. The interview went quite well, the interviewers were quite understanding and encouraged me to take my time with the answers.

I applied online. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at PSEG.

    Interview Details

The interview process was a three part process an initial phone interview by the hiring manager, a 2nd panel interview with several people including someone from HR, and a 3rd interview with the hiring manager and the CIO. This process was probably an 8-10 week process from the original submission of a resume.

Give yourself some extra time for the onsite interviews. They go through a security screening process similar to what is done at the airports but a lot slower...

    Interview Details

Applied for test engineer position. Received call one week later to interview with two senior engineers. Their interviews follow STAR (Situation, Task, Actions, Results) format. Every interviewer asks same questions (i.e describe how you handled a difficult project, were you successful, what was the end result?, describe a time where you promoted safety? what actions did you take? what was the end result?) The employers emphasize this interview strategy and you must answer by telling a story

I applied online. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at PSEG in April 2009.

    Interview Details

I applied online early in 2009, around February and received an email about 2 months later asking to fill out a bunch of forms. They asked general questions such as, past jobs/internships, GPA, and experiences in class. It was a bit more frustrating than other copies on account of the fact I had to sign and fill out various forms.
