RSR Route Sales Representative
Federal Way, WA

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at PepsiCo in July 2012.

Interview Details – Pretty standard interview consisting of selling the company, the district and the local manager pretty heavily. There were a few questions about sales but, because I am overweight, the interviewer began to focus on how "Hard" the work was and that when "I worked the truck, I was in pretty good shape and it was still a workout for me". It was pretty obvious that they weren't interested in anyone that is overweight.

I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at PepsiCo in August 2010.

Interview Details – I'm currently unemployed and needed something to bring in some income, while I was looking for something more related to my field and experience. The process was a little weird with the 1st interview, which I thought was 1-on-1, turned into a group presentation about the position. They spent most of their time trying to talk you out the job by telling you how physically demading the position can be at times.

A week later I had a 1-on-1 interview which consisted of pretty basic interview questions (i.e. Why would you be a good fit for this position?). That went really well and they told me that I would be scheduled for a
ride-a-long with one of the current RSR's to get a good feel for the position and then a panel interview the following week. After getting that scheduled they then did my background check and found a stupid open container mistermeaner while tailgaiting at a concert in 2006, which was unexceptable since they will not hire anyone with anytype of mistermeaner within the last 7 years.

My point is, if you have anything on your record, don't bother because they won't hire you.

Interview Question – They were all very easy.   Answer Question

RSR Route Sales Representative Interview

RSR Route Sales Representative
Beltsville, MD

The process took 3 weeks - interviewed at PepsiCo in July 2010.

Interview Details – Applied online. Received a call to come in for a job overview meeting. Meeting was with 7 other candidates and there were more than one scheduled meeting, based on their sign in sheet at the receptionist's desk. They described positions, benefits, etc. and you filled out an application. I received a letter a few days later saying they weren't interested. However at the overview, they said the next step was an unpaid ride-a-long with one of their drivers. Then the interview with 3 people, followed by a background check and drug test (using hair samples). Process said to take 3-6 weeks
