Interview Details – Very stringent interview processes but it prepares you well for other large corporations. It really makes it easier to interview with smaller companies that don't have such strict and stringent interview processes.

Consultant/Contractor Interview (Neutral Experience)
I applied in-person and interviewed at Pfizer.
Interview Details – Heard of opportunity. Pitched capabilities. Was interviewed by 4 different people. Were curious about my past history although it didn't relate to industry. Several interviewers seemed distracted. It wasn't what I expected. They seemed happy to accept the recommendation of the colleague that brought me in.
Interview Question – Have you ever worked with a Board of Directos? Answer Question
Senior Scientist Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 6 days - interviewed at Pfizer in January 2011.
Interview Details – too long too tedious no appreciation and this website design is not friendly at all. waste of time to answer so many questions. average is good and no more questions if you knows well and the website is really offending to be asked for so many questiosn.
Negotiation Details – no negotiation
Intern Interview (Positive Experience; Easy Interview)
I applied through a staffing agency - interviewed at Pfizer in April 2012.
Interview Details – I went through an outside staffing agency. Then I applied online and within a week I had a phone interview. The interview was straight forward.
Questions were based on my resume.

Very Easy Interview
Inside Sales Interview (Neutral Experience; Very Easy Interview)
I applied through other source - interviewed at Pfizer in March 2010.
Interview Details – I applied for a position through a newspaper posting. I was called in for an interview. I interviewed with 2 people individually. The questions were fair, the conversation was easy, and made for a really good interfiew.
Interview Question – Most difficult question for me was, was I will to travel. View Answer
Negotiation Details – It was much like the interview. The negotiation was painless and I started within two weeks.
Biostatistics Intern Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
Interviewed at Pfizer
Interview Details – Submitted Resume to Online Job Posting (careerlink).
Was emailed for a phone interview.
One week later was called for an In-Person Interview/Tour of the Facility. Spoke to the two people in my department for about 45 min to an hour each, then to the department boss for about 30 minutes. Typical interview questions, little bit of testing of my knowledge, then just general small-talk about the industry and the work.
Interview Question – Took out an actual case and asked me to describe what I saw and how I would interpret it. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I was not offered a chance to negotiate.
Scientist Interview (Positive Experience; Easy Interview)
I applied online and the process took 4 months - interviewed at Pfizer in November 2010.
Interview Details – Applied online. Was contacted by HR to set up a phone pre screen, and then contacted about three weeks later by hiring manager for another phone conversation. About 4 weeks later I was invited for an on site interview. The on site interview lasted an entire day, followed by dinner.

Pharmaceuticals Sales Representative Interview (Positive Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Pfizer in June 2011.
Interview Details – Have to submit/apply for positions through the company website, although current employees can recommend you and if you get hired, will receive a referral bonus. For the most part, the questions will are behavioral-based questions, looking for examples of times when you demonstrated a given behavior in the past. Questions are best answered in the "STAR" format (Situation-Task or Action-Result), so that you most efficiently and completely convey your experience. Listen to the question and answer the question being asked. Be prepared! Take initiative to learn about the position, talking to current employees or customers, this all shows interest and demonstrates that you do want the position. Be sure to ask for what you want at the conclusion of the interview, which means understand what the next step is and ask for to be a part of that. Follow-up quickly and specifically - email is good because it allows you to follow-up quickly, but you might also consider a hand-written note (in-addition to email).

Senior Supervisor Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Pfizer.
Interview Details – Submitted resume through networking to a senior level manager and was sent an interview request. Interviewed with senior director, three functional managers, and HR recruiter.
Negotiation Details – I was not able to negotiate salary.
