R&D Engineering Intern Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate  in  Cincinnati, OH
Anonymous Interview Candidate in Cincinnati, OH
Application Details

I interviewed through college or university - interviewed at Procter & Gamble.

Interview Details

The interview process included an initial screening interview followed by an in depth interview and a day visit to Cincinnati. During the morning of the day visit, I had four 1-hour interviews with typically 2 interviewers, and then they took me to lunch. Everybody was very welcoming and nice.

The interview included general many behavioral questions (e.g. tell about a time when you showed leadership skills, teamwork skills, etc) and a few technical problem solving questions related to their products.

At the intern level, they want to know that you are a good problem solver, can communicate well and learn quickly.

Interview Questions
  • A technical question about diaper design. It did not require specific knowledge of diapers, rather problem solving skills and stating reasonable assumptions.   Answer Question
Negotiation Details
I did not negotiate because the salary was very good for an internship plus they offered very good benefits.
