I applied through other source and the process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Professional Hospital Supply in December 2008.
Interview Details – Harvested resume from internet website, in this case Monster. I sent informal email to all candidates harvested to let them know we were recruiting, wanted to know if they were interested in further discussions. I sent a 6 question pre-interview questionnaire and on-line application link to each candidate who responded favorably to my email. Ask each candidate to complete the questionnaire, attached application and current resume with salary history to my attention, with deadline to complete this process. I then reviewed all responses and scheduled a short phone interview, and if candidate was successful in phone process I scheduled a 1-on-1 interview at my office. For the 1-on-1 interviews finalists were selected. The finalist then meet with senior management in a round-table type interview process. Back ground checks were completed, and offer extended and accepted. Thanks you letters were sent to all the other candidates who participant in this process.
