    Field Manager Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Pulte Homes (Bloomfield Hills, MI).

    Interview

The interview process was informal but intense. It was with the President of the company and VP of construction. It lasted just over 1 and a half hours. Not a structured interview like STAR etc. More of a personality exam by top leadership. Formal dress and clean appearance show leadership that you respect their positions.

    Interview

It took 3 hours!!! Extremely long. They think and make you think the job is so important. They hire over qualified people to do data entry. Run the other way. This company is not worth it. You will be very unhappy. Upper management has got to go. They are the main problem

    Interview

Discovered them through University recruiting, and that led to an in person interview with the two employees that I would be reporting to. They were flexible with my schedule and seemed willing to develop the interview around my time frame.

    Interview

Applied online and within a few weeks had an in-person interview. Was told this was their first round of interviews. Employer was quick and to the point and outlined the position thoroughly. Nice, modern office. She explained it was an "open-door" office and an excellent company culture (i.e. benefits, overtime, etc.)

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Pulte Homes (Broomfield, CO).

    Interview

I answered an add in the newspaper (!) this was in 2008. Apparently others did apply but I was offered job at the end of the interview. I did have to wait for a background check to be completed to begin the job. I had been out of the workforce for years...raising children. I was pleased to get this job so easily! The pay was fair for the position. Although I did work EVERY Sunday, holidays, etc with NO holiday or extra pay because I was part-time. I did it for three years and liked it and the people who worked with me. I would have liked the change to move up; I watch so called 'experienced' people come and go and come and go. I knew I could do this job, but alas, no opportunity to even try. Company in Colorado seemed to be in crisis. Company did leave Colorado finally. Most co-workers now working for another new home builder along side President and Vice President of Colorado Division.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Pulte Homes.

    Interview

Initial interview was a typical phone screen with a recruiter, nothing too challenging, just basic background information and examples of what you have accomplished in your current role. Moved on to next round which was a phone interview with the personal that was filling the position, again, pretty basic, about a 30 minute interview.
