    Interview

Strange screening process where you apply for a specific job, they then play phone tag with you (not willing to work via email to schedule the phone chat). When you do get on the phone with them, they make it sound like they're considering you for any role in the organization, rather than the one you are applying for. In my case I was inquiring about a fairly senior role, so I made sure to communicate that I wasn't applying for anything less senior. Then there's a Q and A about your job history and why you left each position - which I get why recruiters ask, but especially in tech it's getting more and more the norm that people move on every 2-4 years. I was told that people typically work 60 hour weeks and that I would get a call back if I was a fit for any of their openings. The call ended without ever discussing the position I actually applied for. Very odd. I heard a couple of days later they were moving on to other candidates - which was fine as I'd already moved on as well.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at Quicken Loans (Scottsdale, AZ) in July 2015.

    Interview

I was interviewed over the phone for multiple positions. I was not aware that I was interviewing for more than one position and it made it a little difficult to narrow down my focus. They asked me to give a salary expectation despite the fact that they had told me nothing about the position(s) I was interviewing for. The questions mostly revolved around why I had left my previous roles. A week after the phone interview I was called to be informed they went with a different candidate.

    Interview

Was given two phone interviews. I got the first phone call unexpectedly, but the second one was scheduled. They were really nice, and they didn't take too much of my time. First call was about twenty minutes, the second call was about thirty. My questions were only personality questions, and questions such as why I want to work there and what I want to get out of it.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Quicken Loans (Detroit, MI) in June 2015.

    Interview

A recruiter called and emailed me within 2 weeks of applying for the internship on their site. He was very nice and gave a lot of information about how fun the work environment is. Make sure you read up on the company because they do ask what you know about Quicken Loans right away. After the interview he said he'd call back in a week with feedback. Unfortunately, at that time they had decided to move forward with other candidates.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Quicken Loans (Detroit, MI) in June 2015.

    Interview

I applied online about 2 Days later I got a email but didn't end up seeing it until a week. The email expressed That a recruiter had a job opportunity waiting for me and I should call or email her to discuss it. So I called her and she asked me a few questions like why quicken loans and what did I know about quicken loans already. Then she explained what my jobs duties would be and what my salary and hourly pay would be she also expressed I would be working 55-60 hours a week. After She explained that she said I had consent to Credit Check and upload a resume after that she hung up and sent me link to the credit check and to upload my resume so I did that and I wasn't for sure if i uploaded my resume right so i called her and she said i did and she she asked me did i have any other questions i asked a few and she quickly set up a in person interview for the next week. she also sent me a follow up email setting location and time of the interview also a link to more detailed application. So I went on Glassdoor and read a lot of interview reviews which state that the interview should last a hour and should consist of a mock sales call so i went in feeling very confident. So i arrived about 15min early and everyone was just overly nice and seemed like they had been on a happy pill everything was colorful like a rainbow had sneezed. so i waited about 20 minutes for her to come down to get me she was very tall she introduced herself and when i went to shake her hand it felt like it was very limp and not firm so i dimissed that so we had the interview it lasted 20min or less no mock sales call she said she would get back with me in 2 days after she gets some feedback which she did we played phone tag and then when we spoke she said they weren't interested.

Total scam!!! I'm so glad I did my homework and reviewed various sites looking at comments. I can't speak for everyone that post here saying this place "is all that" but the application process starts off as a lie. How can you apply for a position on their website, get a call from "HR" or whomever, and they proceed to tell you about all the awards the company received, etc., blah, blah, blah, and then they tell you that HR will review all the open positions the company has and see which one you qualified for. WTF??!! I said, "I only applied for this position as a direct hire, not a contract worker." Well I f' up at that point because the phone went silent...I asked if the position was a direct hire. I was told "yes." I then reiterated that I was only interested in the position I applied to, nothing else. I get an e-mail saying thanks and we'll let you know the next step in the process. Get a voice message the next day saying they were more qualified applicants (yeah, right). They try to hire you as a contract employee, you work 55+ hours for them at $11.50/hour, and then you're gone. They don't have to pay any unemployment because you were a contract worker. No thanks. Total scam--but keep drinkin' the Kool-Aid...

    Interview

After applying online, I was contacted two days later by a recruiter's assistant to set up a phone interview the following week. Phone interview consisted of him briefing me about the company, walking through my resume with a focus of why I left each job. Polite, quick, and rather textbook. Promised a reply within 48 hours. After 72, I was called to hear that "We unfortunately do not have a position to suit you at this time."
