Advisor, Operations Interview

Anonymous Employee

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at RBNZ in June 2008.

Interview Details – I applied for a specific job on the RBNZ website. I received an e-mail back telling me that I was not apt for that job, but that they had an unfilled position (for a few years) that may interest me. I got the job description and found it interesting and told them I would apply. I set up a phone interview with two employees where we discussed the job and my qualifications for it. We also discussed the work culture, career advancement opportunities, and how the culture of the institution fit with my personal philosophy.

Interview Question – Would you consider moving to New Zealand and when would you start?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Able to negotiate a higher salary, higher allowance for moving and storage, and a flight back to the states at the end of the contract.
