Interview Details – I went to careerfair, nice suit and prepared. Met a recruiter (engineer who got called to do it) and he gave me an screening interview. At the screening interview the next day, was asked basic STAR-type questions. He asked basically 3-4 questions and then had a chat. It was suppose to be really casual interview

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3 months - interviewed at Raytheon in March 2014.

Interview Details – you will get a call for a intial phone screen , just preliminaries to inform you about the program, then they will tell you they will call you a month and a half later to do another interview if you pass that they will invite you to a onsite behavioral interview at the head quarters in MA. Raytheon promotes diversity as they expressed but if you ask me that is a bunch of hogg wash, they talk a good game but dont practice it. i was the only minority there and i didnt fell welcome , i felt as if they was fulfilling a HR requirement to have a diverse canidate go through the interview process . Come on i can put two and two together and i know foul play when i see it im lived in the Great state of texas so go figure. However I was qualified and me being from a low tier school i out shine canidates that was from High ranking schools such as MIT and Purdue just to name a couple. If you are a determine bright minority or non minority and looking to get ahead in your career Avoid raytheon like the plague. During the process When i was interviewing at the head quarters HR ask me , so tell me about the great things your herd about us. I really want to say back in texas a friend of mine just won a law suit against your company for racial descrimination a year ago, that the great things i have herd, i dodnt now this situation until i was invited three days before my flight.

Interview Question – There isnt any it was behavioral, that why im sure it was more too the selection process.   Answer Question

I applied through college or university and interviewed at Raytheon.

Interview Details – I met the recruiter through a campus career fair and was able to set up an on-campus interview the next day. The interview itself was mostly questions regarding experiences with different team dynamics.

Interview Question – The most difficult question I was to explain a time that a group had dissenting views on the solution, and how it was overcome.   Answer Question

Interviewed at Raytheon

Interview Details – It seems to take Raytheon for ever to go through resumes. If you want to work for them I recommend that you check back with them frequently as to the status of your application. It took approximately 5 weeks for my status to change from "Resume Submitted" to "Under Consideration" and then another 5-6 weeks for it to finally update to "No Longer Under Consideration".

Interview Question – After numerous application submittals I have still not been able to get an interview. I would love to be able to just get to that point so I can have the chance to see what questions they have. Hopefully I will get that chance in the future, but from my experience so far, I think it is very hard to get an interview with Raytheon and I am going to assume that you need to know someone who works there to even have a chance, and seeing that I don't know anyone who works there, I am about to give up.   Answer Question

Electrical Engineer I Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate

I applied online and interviewed at Raytheon.

Interview Details – Applied online and received a call about two months later. Was asked basic questions to verify the information found on my resume. Also asked if there was anything else I would like to elaborate on and if I had any questions. Was told that my resume would be forwarded to the HR manager and to keep in mind that it was the holiday season so a bit of time may pass before I am reached again.

Interview Question – Everything was straightforward as it was only a phone interview; was only asked about information found on resume. One question that stuck out was "are you currently recruiting elsewhere?"   Answer Question

Interview Details – I was offered an HR interview during my university's campus career fair. I have only had an HR interview so far. After this, they assume you have applied online and ask you to forward them the job ids to pursue. They forward their reports to recruiters who contact you, if interested. Most likely, to be followed by a string of phone calls.

Interview Question – No question as such. I was asked all the standard ones like, 1: how would you react in a conflict? 2. How do you do in a team setting? etc   Answer Question

Interview Details – Meet with Raytheon at campus career fair. They came back a few weeks later to perform a screening. It wasn't for any specific position, just to put information in their database.

Interview was mostly behavioral. "Tell me about a time when you worked on a team and you all had different perspectives", "tell me when you faced a challenge that you felt was too much", those types of thnigs.

I applied through college or university and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Raytheon in September 2013.

Interview Details – The first round interview took place on campus at part of OCR. It was a 30minute 1:1 interview and was behavioral. There were questions that asked about conflicts in team and how I resolved them. Other questions included identifying my strengths and areas to improve on. Overall felt like an average conversation.
