    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at ResMed (San Diego, CA) in December 2011.

    Interview

    Position was in a high priority status, so interview process moved quickly, though I have heard that is not typically the case. The HR Hiring Manager was very personable, and the interview went well. Questions asked were typical pre-screening "Why do you want this job" and "Tell me about your previous experience" type questions. Interview went quite well, and she told me she wanted to bring me in for next round. Was supposed to happen the following week, but I was going to be out of town for weeks, two days from initial interview. They were incredibly gracious and moved things around to get in in for another round the following day.

    I had two more interviews the next day. One of the interviewers was a bit over the top, and obviously frazzled by the last minute scheduling. She provided some information on the position which clarified that the position was not what I was looking for, which I readily admitted to. She spent the rest of the 30 minutes telling me why I wasn't the right fit (After I already stated that a few times even).

    The other interviewer was amazing. She was kind enough to take time to explain a bit about the company and tell me about what she did. She asked standard situation based questions, but then chatted candidly with me about what I am really interested in (she too realized this position was not a right fit for me).

    Overall, the experience was great and I walked away with a good impression of the company, and still keep an eye on openings. If I could find a good fit, I would give it a go.
