Account Executive Interview

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 5 weeks - interviewed at Ricoh Americas Corporation in March 2014.

Interview Details – Had a phone screening that asked me about my past career experiences. It was a very simple interview on why I would be good for a sales position. Then got a call from the HR department to schedule an interview in the job location. Had the interview with the Sales Director of Marketplace, and got the offer. He asked me very basic questions, and I had met him before at a job fair, so he already knew a little bit about me. We did not get into much detail about other aspects of the position.

Interview Question – Nothing really. Just asked about myself, and why I want to be in sales, and why they should hire me.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – They just offered me a salary, and I said yes.

Senior Account Executive Interview

I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Ricoh Americas Corporation in March 2012.

Interview Details – One day, two interviews, hired on the spot. I originally had a brief interview/phone screen with their recruiter who then set a day and time for me to interview with the Sales Manager. Upon my 30 minute, shooting the breeze interview, he brought me to the Sales VP's office for an immediate follow-up interview that took another 30 minutes. On my drive home the Sales Manager called me back to offer me a job. Neither of these employees currently work for Ricoh.

Negotiation Details – It's a very cut-and-paste salary/comp plan.

Account Executive III Interview

Account Executive III
Bellevue, WA

I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Ricoh Americas Corporation.

Interview Details – Entire process took about a 1 month. Initial phone call consisted of a Ricoh recruiter verifying my background. Second phone call was with the Sales Manager in which we discussed the position. During the on-site interview, I met with two Sales Managers and the next day went on a ride along with a sales rep.

Interview Question – There wasn't anything difficult. My recommendation is to know the company's history/background and be prepared to explain how your experience can benefit Ricoh.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – No room for negotiation. Fixed base salary which they are upfront about from the very beginning

I applied online and the process took 6+ weeks - interviewed at Ricoh Americas Corporation.

Interview Details – The process was fairly straight forward. Nothing was excessively difficult and the hiring managers were rather pleasant.

Interview Question – What makes you believe your way would ever work (this came from a ride along, not from the hiring managers..oddly this employee works 60+ hours per week to accomplish the same tasks that most complete in 45 hours)   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – No negotiation on compensation. They LOWERED the base salary shortly before I signed on. Management did stick to the initial discussed offer

I applied online - interviewed at Ricoh Americas Corporation in March 2013.

Interview Details – I was interviewed over the phone by a recruiter , basic questions were asked. then I was scheduled for interview with the Area Sales Manager, It was a good interview, the manager was nice. I had a ride along with one of the reps, we did cold calling, Phone calls, it was difficult because I was not familiar with pounding the streets and knocking on doors. then I was interviewed by the Sales Director..The Sales Director was nice, I was ask to present a powerpoint presentation of my 90day sales plan..I was hired after a few days.

Interview Question – Nothing unexpected, basically the questions were normal sales questions like how much salary are you expecting.and how much commission would you expect in one year.   Answer Question
