Interview Details –
The initial conversation with one of their recruiters was positive and the information provided was detailed. It all fell apart when I arrived and found the recruiter was out sick. After a full week of no contact I called and got the, "Sure, got your file right here, let me look it over and get back to you."
Do I need say how that went?
I've no problem with "No", we have all heard it. But I expected better from a company with Robert Half's reputation.

America's Top Recruiting Company Needs to Practice What They Preach
Resume was already on file with RHI as I was registered with the recruiting division.
Large corporation with good physical working environment in a nice location of the East Bay, (San Ramon, CA). The initial walk up to the building will make you think "this is will be a nice place to work".
Interview was for a position within RHI corporate. Not as a contractor. So, I was meeting with RHI HR and the department supervisor. Both were very nice and easy to be with. I felt that my interview went very well with both of them. We even were at the point of discussing the "when you are here" questions. I left the interview very confident that I would be chosen for the position. But, I was also informed that there were a couple additional candidates that they needed to see, and a decision would be made in one week. After a very confident interview, there was absolutely NO communication from RHI. No email, no phone call, no letter of "thanks but no thanks". . . I called the HR department contact and asked if they could please give me a status of the position. She promised me that either the HR manager or the supervisor I interviewed with, would get back with me. . . Again, NOTHING. . .In my opinion, this is truly setting a terrible example of what RHI has told me is completely unacceptable conduct for a company. I have been registered as a contractor with RHI for a couple years, so I hear from the recruiters what to "watch out for" when interviewing with other companies. This inappropriate lack of communication is what they tell me "sets the example of what to expect from that company". . OK, so now I know how RHI is as a company.
Interview Question – Describe the most difficult situation you have encounted in your work or personal life, and how you dealt with or resolved that situation. What was the outcome. Answer Question
No Offer – Interviewed in Memphis, TN – Reviewed Jan 13, 2013
Interview Details – Overall consisted of three interviews. First two were very similar meeting with multiple different people with the firm. The third interview was a "shadow day", in which I shadow two different employees and saw first hand what the day-to-day consisted of. Them said they were very interested in moving forward. Followed up on the date we planned and they did not get back with me until 4 days later, because they were filling the position internally and wanted to make sure it was a for sure thing. Nice people overall, very money driven.
Interview Question – No true difficult questions, very broad like "tell me about yourself, or this position, etc" Toughest question prob " what worries you the most about this position?" or what seems hardest about this position? Answer Question
No Offer – Interviewed in Jersey City, NJ Sep 2012 – Reviewed Jan 9, 2013
Interview Details – I interviewed hoping to pick up some temp work. I filled out their application online and was asked to fill out more when I arrived for the interview. I met with two young women. They seemed fairly inexperienced at interviewing candidates, asked canned questions without looking at my resume. I didn't expect much b/c it was just an interview for temporary work, but they said they would refer me to another office which handled the territory I wanted to work in (NYC).
No Offer – Interviewed in Houston, TX – Reviewed Jan 6, 2013
Interview Details – Recruiter was an attorney and talked about her personal problems the whole time. Talked how she hated working there and told me of their 35% mark up. Sd mgr always complained about quotas- recruiting & sales. Most unprofessional interview ever. Felt like her shrink. Not about my experience.
