Summer Intern Interview (Neutral Experience)
I applied through college or university and interviewed at Robert Walters.
Interview Details – Interview involved a rotation of 3 cycles, each a 1 one 1 interview with the head of the company. Asked about experience, why this company, unique position of Robert Walters in SF vs other cities, SF specialties and trends in business hiring, 3rd party hiring/recruiting, etc. There were some redundant questions about applying resume abilities to hiring.
Interview Question – What makes the business climate in SF different and unique from other locations? Answer Question
Reason for Declining – intern responsibilities were pretty rudimentary and basic, didn't feel I would learn a lot and gain a lot of experience

Consultant Interview (Neutral Experience; Very Easy Interview)
I applied through a recruiter - interviewed at Robert Walters in May 2013.
Interview Details – 4 rounds pre talk,

Negotiation Details – I didnt negotiate much, as I really liked the management team at beginning, and I trusted them at beginning, but it doenst end well. My judgement was wrong,
Recruitment Consultant Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 5 days - interviewed at Robert Walters.
Interview Details – Many interviewers in one day. You'll start off with Directors of each division, then managers, then peers, across about 3-4 rounds. Managing director should be last. All 1-on-1s.
Interview Question – Questions regarding recruitment itself. You'll do a mock call to someone in the office. Answer Question
Recruitment Consultant Interview (Negative Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Robert Walters.
Interview Details – Hiring process was very long. There was the phone screening process, and then several one-to-one interviews with the MD, AD and several other Recruitment Consultants (who you may not even work with). Overall, a long interview process and it was only until I had informed them of other interviews and potential offers, then was the pace stepped up.
Interview Question – Was asked to do a role play whereby I was a recruiter trying to get past the gatekeeper. Answer Question
Senior Consultant Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Robert Walters.
Interview Details – very easy to get in if you have prior experience in consulting and track record as high biller

Negotiation Details – quite long to be approved by regional
