Field Marketing Interview

Field Marketing

I applied through college or university and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at SanDisk.

Interview Details – Several rounds were given over the phone and then I met one of the recruiters in person. It was a good experience getting to know some of the corporate ways of interviewing

Interview Question – Pretty straightforward, make sure you know how you can relate your skills directly to the position. I also did not make it to the final final round, so there might have been more I did not experience   Answer Question

I applied through college or university and the process took 2 days - interviewed at SanDisk in September 2013.

Interview Details – Interview was quite laid back, they just wanted to know you as a person. The interviewer asked me where I'm from, why do I want to work with SanDisk, why I think I am a good fit for the job and I also had to walk through my resume with him.

Design Engineer Interview

Design Engineer

I applied through college or university and the process took a day - interviewed at SanDisk.

Interview Details – The whole process would last for 6-9 hrs. It depends on how you perform. But some time they want to see how you respond to actual design problems. In that way they could see the way you think. Get yourself familiar with all your projects and previous designs would be better.

Interview Question – They don't ask general design questions. More like custom design encounters.   Answer Question

Interview Details – Contacted by agency recruiter. Scheduled to have an hour interview with the manager; however, he was ten minutes late and cut the interview short (approx. 20 minutes) because he had another meeting to go to. The next day he put the position on hold and I never received any feedback.

Senior Manager Interview

Senior Manager

I applied through a recruiter and interviewed at SanDisk.

Interview Details – Contacted by an in-house recruiter through Linked-In and I replied that I was interested. The first interview was with an HR representative on the phone; originally set for 30 mins but it went over. It was clearly to get a better understanding of my background and to follow-up on clarification needed, I'm guessing, that the hiring manager wanted. He was very cordial and informative. I would say, made me excited about the opportunity. He passed me to the hiring manager for a phone interview and that was more detailed on my experience relevant to the position. It was set for 30 mins, but went for 50 mins. This manager was also very cordial and professional. Both interviews were a positive experience.

Interview Question – They asked a question like the type that you hear that Google asks; it was a problem solving question asking you to determine the number of XYZ, something rather esoteric   View Answer
