    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at Schneider (Green Bay, WI) in May 2015.

    Interview

Initial phone interview, then in-person 3-step interview. I arrived on site and spoke with two managers who asked a series of behavioral based questions. Then I spoke with another gentleman who was higher up in the company. I was asked more broad questions about my experience and what I was looking for. Finally I had a chance to sit on the sales floor and observe day-to-day operations.

    Interview Questions

    • All the interview questions were behavioral based. All were challenging.   1 Answer

    Interview

Applied online was contacted by a recruiter for a phone interview. After the phone interview received the go ahead for a in person interview which consists of three interviewers. Company never called back. I have no problem with not getting the job but no return call to inform me of their decision is really unprofessional. If someone takes time out of their day to interview you can take the time to at the very least inform them of your decision.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Schneider in March 2015.

    Interview

I applied online and they called me the next day to schedule a phone interview. The interview was about 2-3 weeks from the day they first called me and that morning the interviewer called me. Some of the questions asked are below, nothing much was asked beyond those questions besides things like if transportation would be an issue and general qualification questions. After the interview about two weeks went by before I got an email saying I wouldn't be going farther in the process.

    Marketing Interview

    Anonymous Employee
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Schneider in February 2015.

    Interview

First was an initial phone interview with HR (lasted 30 min), second was another phone interview with hiring manager (lasted 45 min) and third was a face-to-face interview with three individuals at once (lasted about an hour). Everyone has their own interviewing process but the questions asked didn't really pertain to the job nor how my past experiences can contribute to the position. The questions were fairly easy but I was asked multiple at the same time. It seemed like they were trying to intimidate me and make me feel uncomfortable (most likely to see how I respond). At one point the interviewer said (kind of laughing) I'm playing stump the interviewer. I left this interview thinking that this might not be a place I want to work.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Schneider (Dearborn, MI).

    Interview

Hour phone interview and hour in-person interview at office. The managers interviewing me seems pretty unprofessional. The woman refused to answer any of my questions and directed her manager to do so. The entire time he was putting down his team saying some of them are "not so smart". I heard back a response fairly quickly because they were looking to hire someone asap. Overall, I found the experience extremely negative and this office seems to be a place where I would be unhappy to work at.

    Interview Questions

    • None really. I was told the interview would be behavioral based and it was not.   Answer Question

    Customer Service Representative Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Schneider (Green Bay, WI) in September 2013.

    Interview

Schneider contacted me a couple days after applying and scheduled a phone interview. Phone interview went great and lasted about 30 minutes! A couple days later received a call from a recruiter to come back for an in person interview. The in person interview was awful. It's a panel interview with 3 "middle" management individuals that lasted an hour. Their questions were ridiculous! Who asks something like "what do you do to motivate people"? I'm interviewing for a Customer Service position, not a managment position. I have never had to motivate people! Anyway, the interview was very intimidating and it felt like they were trying to break me. They weren't even interested in getting to know me as a worker or individual...just supid behavioral questions that are not related to the job. I ended up accepting another position with a better Company for more pay. Schneider also never got back to me.

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Schneider.

    Interview

I got a HR screen interview. A very nice recruiter just asked some normal questions such like why do you want to work for Schneider National, why do you think you are the right person. After the 30 minutes interview, the recruiter immediately told me I can get another interview next week. I sent follow-up email every week after the first interview and they always told me that they were still reviewing my background. After three weeks, I was told they wouldn't consider me for this position.
