I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Sephora in October 2012.
Interview Details – Received a phone asking for me to do a group interview. The group interview was casual but dressy casual. Questions were fairly easy. Know a little history about Sephora, how you would react if you saw someone stealing, what store do you remember getting great customer service at and why, past job history, availability, why do you want to work for Sephora. There weren't any trick questions.
Interview Question – Nothing unexpected. A lot of Googling gave back helpful information on the interview process. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – As a seasonal hire, we were told in the interview how much they were offering. You either accepted or declined.
I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Sephora in November 2013.
Interview Details – 1st interview is a group interview, only 3 girls, and 3 managers. the management team had a good rapport with each other so that eased a few nerves. other than that the questions where pretty standard. they spend equal time asking each questions. and you get a call back to have a one-on-one with the store manager. seasonal is how they hire on staff, they have to try you out first before you become a full time cast member.
Interview Question – you biggest weakness, 3 adjectives that a former employer would use to describe you. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – simple phone call, the process went pretty quickly, they tell you of your discount and pay rate, max. hours (still haven't gotten more than 10hrs a week though.) give them a yay or nay. ya no..
Very Easy Interview

Interview Details – I had applied online for the seasonal position and gotten a phone call about 1-2 weeks later asking to meet for an interview. The interview was relatively easy. The interviewer asked questions along the lines of, why you want to work for sephora? What makes you a great candidate for this position? and many other similar questions.
Interview Question – There weren't really any difficult questions as long as research a little about the company before hand. Answer Question
I applied in-person and the process took 4 days - interviewed at Sephora.
Interview Details – I walked in to physically turn in my resume and cover letter to the manager.
That same week I got called into for a group interview.

I applied through other source and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Sephora in September 2013.
Interview Details – I originally saw that Sephora was having an open hiring event at the local mall. I went and had a group interview there. It was me and another girl. It was very natural and laidback kind of interview. They were having interviews all day. A few days later they emailed me regarding a second interview with the store manager. Then I received an email saying that they were offering me the position.
Interview Question – There weren't any difficult questions. Answer Question
I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Sephora in October 2013.
Interview Details – I had three interviews. The first was a group interview with general interview questions. The second was a one on one and just went more in detail with the questions and went into detail about the company and how it works. Last one was a demo with the store manager. Pretty easy over all after the first one.
Negotiation Details – No negotiatation
I applied online and the process took 2 days - interviewed at Sephora in September 2012.
Interview Details – Sephora does all their yearly hiring fro the seasonal help they hire for the holidays. They train and then keep they worthy seasonal help, and everyone begins at cashier. My interview was a group and very fun, as the management was open and encouraging with role play and lots of questions. It was boring, and they didn't have the spirit of contention in the room, it was easy for a seasoned sales woman, like myself to shine.
Interview Question – Standing up and role playing wasn't expected, but easy. Answer Question
