I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Sherwin-Williams.

    Interview Details

It was a 4 step process. First a phone interview with a recruiter, if that goes well you are invited to do two store visits where you interview the store management. Then you have a follow up phone call about those visits, if that all goes well you have a brief phone interview with someone in HR. Past that step you are invited to a final formal face-to-face interview with your district manager. If that goes well then you receive a formal job offer!

    Management Training Program (MTP) Interview

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Sherwin-Williams in February 2015.

    Interview Details

I applied though the career site at my university and got an interview for the day after the career fair. The first interview was pretty straight forward some questions about my resume and about myself then into behavioral questions (Tell me about a time when...). The recruiter told me I was moving on right then. The next step is a store visit where you basically interview a store manager using a packet of questions they send you. After that the recruiter called me and asked some question about what I learned and what surprised me about the store/position. He told me I was getting a final interview with 2 city managers, the district manager was supposed to interview me too but he was sick that day. The final interveiw was similar to the first, more extensive about my resume and some more behavioral questions (time you made a mistake, how you worked with a difficult person). I got a call the next morning with an offer. Its an extensive process but they really make sure it'll be a good fit for both parties. Everyone seemed super friendly and they dont leave you waiting for a decision which is nice!

Call from a corporate recruiter for a quick 20 minute interview, than a interview at a store that is very relaxed where you ask questions that the recruiter provided. Third part is an interview with the DM for about 45 minutes and it is basic behavioral question and question about who you are.

There was a phone and a 1 on 1 interview. Nothing hard. Standard questions. Flowed more like a conversation. Depends on who interviews you and what job you are applying for. SW is a great company.

I applied online. The process took 4+ monthsinterviewed at Sherwin-Williams in December 2014.

    Interview Details

One phone interview and one in person interview. A lot of the time was spent explaining the program and asking about what kinds of work i've done before, and how I work in groups. Technical questions were very surface level, they only asked questions about technologies/languages that I have worked in before, as they were more interested in my desire to learn new things rather than coming in with a lot of knowledge.

First interview was great. I'm now waiting to go visit the store for my second interview. I know that I will get hired and claiming it. This company seems to have a great work life balance and that is great. The benefits and pay are great as well.

    Interview Details

There was 2 rounds, the first was a phone interview. Pretty basic questions - tell me about yourself, strengths, weaknesses, etc. Second round was in the office, again pretty easy interview, just a little more in depth about yourself. Half of the interview is spent with the guy telling you about Sherwin and what he does/what you'll be doing.
