Interview Details – The phone interview was very relaxed. There was no rush to get through the questions and the interviewer was very clear with what she was asking. The conversation started off with a little background information myself as well as the company. She also went into what the position required and what the company was looking for in an employee.
Interview Question – There were not unexpected questions. Just be prepared to answer "Tell me a time when you.." questions. Answer Question

Interview Details – I discovered Sherwin-Williams thru a site called Hero2Hire.com. I submitted my résumé on the company's website on March 3, 2013. I finally got a call for a phone interview, which was conducted on Friday April 5, 2013. It went extremely well and right there on the spot the recruiter told me he was gonna send my information up to the Distrcit Manager for the Detroit Metro area. On the following Monday I received an email from the HR department asking me if I could come in the following Monday, April 15, for a one-on-one interview. I met with the DM then I met with the City Manager. Everything went very well and after I went back home I emailed both managers a thank you letter and the DM a list of my references.
Interview Question –
The phone interviewer only asked 4 questions:
Why do you want to work for this company?
What are your strengths and weakness?
Name a time when you persuaded a customer towards your advice?
How do you like to set goals?

Interview Details – 3 parts- phone interview, store managers meeting and District manager meeting. Each one is a week between each other. Look anywhere from 1-2 months before knowing if you got the job. The phone Interview was almost all hypothetical question. The store meeting was where the managers take you through a day in the life of the Managers. After that you have to tell the hiring manager you would like to move forward. Then you have the district managers meeting. That is basically all personality, if you are liked then you are hired (if he/she thinks you can get the job done).
Interview Question – Almost every question is a how would you handle this? or what are your experiences here. View Answer
Negotiation Details – NO negotiation was 1 week to say yes or no.

Interview Details – The process started with me applying online. About two weeks after I was contacted for the phone interview. Do not take this lightly, as this is probably one of the most difficult interviews of his process. Questions were behavioral questions such as "name a time when you turned a negative customer experience into a positive one" In addition to these questions they will ask questions about your resume . e.g what was your least/most favorite part of the job. Be prepared to answer questions based on your resume. Also be very transparent with them. 2nd interview was a store interview, very informal, but I did not let that distract me from being professional, dress well, speak well, and be prepared to ask questions of your own. 3rd interview was over the phone to assess store interview, asked questions like "what would you change about the store", be very honest and also use the hamburger method when answering this question. in other words " I like the store(good) I would improve this(bad) however it appeared really strong in this(good) . the fourth interview was with the DM who just wanted to get to know me . I was offered the same day as interview., just be very transparent and sell your self.
Interview Question – Nothing to difficult. Just use S.T.A.R method Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Didnt negotiate .

Interview Details – Interview was fine, relatively easy just trying to get to know you as a person. Want people who are 'roll up your sleeves' types. From what I know the position involves being an assistant manager at a SW store, helping out and occasionally mixing paint until you get promoted to store manager and the ladder starts from there.
Interview Question – Are you ok with a physically demanding job? Answer Question

Interview Details – I started the interview process with Sherwin-Williams at my college's career fair. There i met with a recruiter and she offered me to set up an interview at the school the next day. I interviewed with her and it was pretty basic, we went over my resume and a few questions based on group work and leadership. A few days later i had a phone interview with a recruiter, she asked what i liked about the position and why i was interested in the company. Then i was instructed to set up a in-store interview. The in-store interview was pretty laid back, i filled out the packet they gave me and asked my own questions over the 90 or so minutes of being there. They showed me around the store and the basics of the job. I followed up and had a follow up phone interview the next day. About 3 weeks later i received an email and phone call to for an interview with the city manager in my hometown. The interview was pretty laid back. The guy asked me to give a 30,000 ft view of myself and asked me a few questions related to time management and group work. I left the interview in good spirits, thinking i had a good chance of getting the job. He also told me not to sit by the phone because they were interviewing many people so it may take a few weeks. About a week later i received an email saying that i was not selected for the position stating that they had limited and unique hiring needs at this time and would retain my resume if positions opened up.

Interview Details – Hiring process took about one month. Same as all the other comments on this cite. First part starts with the recruiter at a college campus, then filing out a basic application online. Followed by an interview with the store manager where you can get a look at what goes on in a typica store, then an interwiew with the disctrict manager and then another interview with the branch manager. All interviews were very conversational and easy compared to other employers that just want to drill you with questions.
Interview Question – Just be prepared. Know why you have an interest in the company and why you want to work for the company. If you are not interested from the beginning it will show! Answer Question
Negotiation Details – There was really no negotiation, after going through four interviews I was made an offer and with the base pay I was satified.
