There was a hiring post on my university website for a Summer/Fall Co-op. They asked to submit a resume on the site and their own site. I got an email asking for a phone email and a there was a phone conference set up. In the phone conference, I was interviewed for three different internships, system engineering, operational management, and risk management. They basically went through my resume and asked me to talk about it.

I interviewed online - interviewed at Sikorsky in October 2012.

    Interview Details

I had a panel interview with a direct manager, an overall manager, and two coworkers. They all took turns asking me questions, pretty much a review of my resume and general office skills. There was some behavioral questions, how I would react if this or that happened. After the interview they took me on a tour of the plant and then I had a one on one with the direct manager. Here she talked more with me on what I was expecting in the position and gave me an overview of the benefits offered.

    Interview Questions
    • The most difficult question for me was "Why do you want to be in this role?"   Answer Question
    Reasons for Declining

The distance from my home to the office was the deciding factor.

I interviewed online. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Sikorsky in April 2012.

    Interview Details

Applied online, it is pretty much just a resume drop for the time you can work for them (IE summer, fall, spring) as a student. Got a screening call in April asking about my experience and explaining the position to me, asking about my interest in the position. Was about a 10 minute phone call. A week later got a call, asking me a bit more about myself, and experience, pretty much an informal interview. The week after I got an email with an offer of employment to start in May.

Very good interview. I was called by the person that was to become my immediate supervisor. He knew by my military service (from a faxed DD214) that the skills and training was verifiable and he could tell by my answers that all though I did not understand the intricacies of the duties to be performed that I had the ability to learn and become proficient in a short time.
