I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at SiriusXM in February 2014.

Interview Details – The recruiters found me on LinkedIn and emailed me. In general: I had a great experience talking with Procurement team, and a very poor experience communicating with HR.
First I had a screening call with HR than I was invited to the interview in their office on 8th Ave. The interview scheduling process wasn't very well organized, please see details below.
HR: 1) didn't reply my emails on time, sometimes didn't reply at all; 2) Scheduled my interview less than 24 hours prior (I had to change my travel plans several times and plan a long commute/short sleep, that might have influenced my tiredness and interview quality) 3) Last, but not the least - never informed me of the interview result, and never replied my request. Now that 6 months had passed I think it is safe to say I didn't pass the interview. It would really to help me understand why, but I never received any feedback.
Procurement team - was professional and friendly, I had an interview with every one of them (30min with each member, there were 3 of them). They asked a lot of professional questions and overall the interview itself was a pleasant experience.

Interview Question – No tricky questions were asked. There were a lot of questions around the experience, that would be easy to answer if you were for 4-6 years in Procurement. A couple of questions like "where do you see yourself in 5 years" and "what was the most difficult situation you had in your previous workplace" were asked.   Answer Question

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at SiriusXM.

Interview Details – Technical screening and in-person interview with 8 people. The in-person interview was 2 hour long and 6 people asked questions. The recruiter calls back after 2 days and says that interview went really well and team is deciding on the salary and it would be lower than what was discussed. Sends me email postponing for 2 weeks and informs that they did not want to hire. Very unprofessional company.

I applied online and the process took 5 months - interviewed at SiriusXM in April 2013.

Interview Details – Was contacted immediately after submitting my resume and called in to meet the hiring manager, then a week later met the VP. That is when the process stopped. I was told they wanted to make a decision in a week. I followed up with HR weekly, then monthly. The responses from HR got increasing rude and terse. Finally 4 MONTHS after my final interview and only after following up I was told the hiring manager decided to go with another candidate. A couple months later I saw the job reposted so I reached out to the hiring manager and got one of the rudest replies from any HR person I've ever seen.

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at SiriusXM in October 2013.

Interview Details – Had a single telephone interview which lasted 10 minutes. I was then scheduled for an in person interview. This had to rescheduled for the following week when an 'emergency' at Sirius forced the hiring manager to go out of town. Eventually The rescheduled was canceled when I was told that Sirius has placed all development 'on hold'.

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at SiriusXM.

Interview Details – first got an phone interview from one of their VP, asked about PCA/Factor analysis, and some regression models, and machine learning models, then got 2 onsites, asked about some model diagnostic and model builidng techniques, no offer

Interview Question – deal with data sets with 1000+variables and 10000+rows, get insights from such data sets, a very common question and there are numerous methods to apply, you never know which method they are expecting and your time is limited   Answer Question

I applied online and the process took 3 days - interviewed at SiriusXM in September 2011.

Interview Details – I was interview by the team manager which takes an hour and then I was interview by the director of operations which takes another hour. The team manager tells me about the position and about the company. Ask me about my past jobs, very standard questions, nothing technical. The director came in and ask me the same standard questions, but he ask me some minor technical questions and some judgement questions.

At the end of the interview, the director said would I be able to come in for a second interview?

I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at SiriusXM in March 2011.

Interview Details – First received a phone screen and was immediately invited for personal interview. The phone screen took about half-hour as we discussed my background and experience as it pertained to the role. Recruiter asked good questions and phone interview went really well. However, the phone screen is where you have to make the lasting impression because the personal interview felt empty with meeting the recruiter was pretty much a meet and greet. Despite making a continued effort to sell oneself in the personal interview I had to lead the interview. After the interview if seemed like they had already determined who was hired simply based on phone screens showing little enthusiasm for the actual interview.

The process took 1 week - interviewed at SiriusXM in November 2010.

Interview Details – Contrary to other reviews my experience with HR was good. Very fast responding and moving at a very good pace. My experience with the hiring manager was not so good. Very old Michigan auto industry personality which is not a good match for what the Sirius brand product is about. Very limited to none marketing experience and unrealistic expectations that are a better fit for what this country was 300 years ago. Had the feeling would not be a good job as soon as I realized the personality was a reflection of the current company culture, again, which is not what the product is about.

I applied through an employee referral and the process took a day - interviewed at SiriusXM in March 2010.

Interview Details – I worked as in intern for this company and received a positive review at the end of my internship. My mentor for the internship recommended me for an Executive Assistant position. I was promptly emailed back to set up an interview with the company.

A week later I was called by a human resources director and had a great phone interview. He seemed pleased and said he would email me later that day to set up an in person interview with the executive. Two weeks passed with no email so I decided to contact HR back to find the status of the job application. I was told that the Executive had not picked which applicants he would like to bring in for an interview.

I moved on, and 3 months later I got an email telling me they had hired someone for the position. I do not think they are bad people, just disorganized.

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at SiriusXM in May 2010.

Interview Details – 1st and. 2nd phone interviews. Feedback positive stating most qualified of three applicants and would be brought back for 1:1 panel interview. The HR manager would not return emails or voicemails from recruiter. The day before stated 1:1 interview said I was still being considered. Finally heard 2 weeks after 1:1 interviews were held on date initially stated and another offer had been extended. Misled - okay - lied about outcome and consideration. No doubt inidicative of corporate management style overall.
