Interview Details – Played phone tag with remote office for a week and a half, finally got a face-to-face interview locally. Was extended a job offer, only to have it revoked less than three hours later, with no explanation. This was an exceptionally frustrating, misleading and disappointing experience. Once the process was over, it was as if I never existed; I received no further response from either office.

No Offer – Interviewed in The Woodlands, TX Jul 2010 – Reviewed Aug 26, 2010
Interview Details – I took and passed several tests online, took over an hour. I interviewed in person, seemed to go well. Filled out some more forms online agreeing to submit to a background check. Took a drug test. I got the results of the background check & drug test by contacting the 3rd party company that conducts them for Spherion. Everything looked fine. But Spherion doesn't have the decency or professionalism to bother giving me a call back. I don't have a clue why they won't at least tell me something.

Interview Details – I was contacted by the hiring manager who was a former manager. I applied for the job on line and was contacted by the recruiter (a former coworker) for a preliminary phone interview. I then went into the company and interviewed with the hiring manager and five other people. I did receive a phone call that another candidate had been chose but believe I only received the call rather than an e-mail due to my previous relationship with the hiring manager.
Interview Question – Talk about a situation where you were in conflict with your manager and how did you handle it. Answer Question

Interview Details –
Spherion found my resume on-line and contacted me via email to determine my interest. I confirmed my interest in the position that same day and received a telephone call the very next day.
I was asked a series of questions regarding my previous position and management skills.
I was asked to email a copy of my resume to the interviewer so that she could pass it on to the others, including the hiring manager (she was covering for them during their absence).
I submitted a thank you email and did not hear back from them right away. Once I did hear back from them, all I heard was something to the effect of "that it's in her hands now. She'll contact you if interested".
