- Accepted OfferNegative ExperienceEasy Interview
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at TD Bank in August 2014.
The first interview was over the phone with an HR representative. They asked me the typical questions about career experience, motivation for applying to the position, personality-based questions, etc. A few weeks later I was called in for an interview with the hiring manager and their team lead. There wasn't much in the way of technical/skills based questioning beyond some very basic database design and opinion-based questions about the software industry. The bulk of the interview was looking at some of my experience and gauging my personality.
- Given a specific problem (tutoring company with teachers, different types of students, and a schedule) draw out the database design and identify key transactions for an application built on a database like this. Answer Question
I attempted to negotiate at the time but was told that they couldn't do anything at the time.

I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at TD Bank in July 2014.
I had a phone interview Withe the HR, and she setup an In-Person Technical interview with the Hiring Manager. The interview was pretty straight forward and in my opinion easy.

- Declined OfferPositive ExperienceAverage Interview
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TD Bank (Toronto, ON (Canada)) in May 2008.
Had two in-person interviews with 3 people (hiring manager, director and technical team lead). Threre was no skills test but a lot of technical questions. Overall experience was very positive. First interview was more formal, the second one was more relaxed but had more technical questions.
- Was presented with real-life ongoing support problem and asked to suggest possible causes or approaches to troubleshooting. Answer Question
Reasons for Declining
Had a better offer from another company
