I applied online. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at TD Canada Trust (Vancouver, BC (Canada)) in May 2015.

Interview

Phone interview. She called an hour early but I was able to do the interview at that time. Took about 30 minutes in total. Previously you had to fill out a skills and personality test online from an email. Took about 30 minutes as well. Answer honestly.

  • Behavioural questions and examples of exceptional customer service. Be prepared to have at least 4 or 5 different examples ready because many of the questions are asking for the same thing but worded differently.   Answer Question

    I dropped off my resume and cover letter to the nearest TD bank from my house and asked for an interview in about a week. After an interview they asked me to do online assessment and then the result came out in about 2 weeks or so.

    I was called in for an interview with the manager. Walked in, very friendly staff, the manager was very cool. The type of questions they ask you for a CSR position is going to be all behavioural. If the managers like you, they will forward your resume to HR and from there, HR will ask you to do an online screening process. I suppose if you pass that, HR will decide if you are hire or not.

    Applied online, but I was out of town for 2 weeks right after I applied. I got an email 1 week later asking if I am really interested. I guess I missed the calls because I was out of town. I replied the HR person and called her right after I was back in town. She basically asked about my background information and why TD. The call only lasted for like 10 minutes. I guess the position was filled already.

    I applied through an employee referral – interviewed at TD Canada Trust (Brampton, ON (Canada)) in September 2012.

    Went into the branch for an interview. Bypassed the phone interview as I was referred. It was your basic interview with lots of behavioral questions. The branch manager walked in mid way through the interview just to say hi, which was totally unexpected. The interview lasted 30 minutes. I was told I would be contacted in the following two weeks. They did not inform me of a decision so I emailed them and still have not herd back.

    I applied online. The process took 3 daysinterviewed at TD Canada Trust (Guelph, ON (Canada)) in May 2012.

    Applied online but not selected. Went into one branch for informational interview. There was vacancy. They forwarded resume to HR. I was asked to complete an online assessment then phone interview followed 2 days after. Personally, I knew I didn’t do well during the interview. I couldn’t answer ‘What does customer service mean to you?’ Waiting if I would be called for 1:1 interview. My advice is be prepared. Do your research well and know what you have to say.
