I applied online and the process took 3 days - interviewed at Target in May 2014.

Interview Details – Received a call for an interview a few days after applying. Went in for the interview and the interviewer asked me basic questions about availability, why I want to work at target, what my strength and weakness were. Then after that he asked me three questions (what would you do if.... Name a time when..) and told me to go wait in the break room for a second interview. 10 minutes later the interviewer came in and told me that the next person to interview me was "too busy with other interviews" and if I got a call back within the week, if not, then yeah..

Phone interview was basic questions about past work experience and how I handle customer service. Scheduled an in person interview for the next day. Consisted of a short interview with the same questions from the phone interview with a manager then watched an employee video. I applied online and the process took 4 days - interviewed at Target in July 2013.

Interview Details – Just a few days after filling out Target's lengthy online application, a representative of the store called me to schedule an interview. They only ask a few questions, at least for the more basic positions, but the interviewer was visibly displeased when I mentioned that I only had a single semester of school left before graduating. I doubt that they would be too eager to hire someone that was unlikely to stick around after graduation.

Interview Question – Name a work situation in which you would have recanted your actions later and would have done something else.   Answer Question
