I applied online and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Target in November 2013.

Interview Details – The interview process was a nightmare. After getting the run around for a week, they got me in for a second interview, which was face to face. The initial interview was done over the phone. Most of the questions asked during the face to face were "what if" questions. Although I didn't get a job offer, I was kind of relieved. Actually, I know that I was overqualified! The interview process seemed really unorganized and I couldn't even imagine what it would have been like if I got hired. The manager interviewing me mentioned that they had several team members leave so, they were looking to add more cashiers for the upcoming holidays. Hmm, I wonder why!?

Interview Question – I thought the interview were pretty straightforward!   Answer Question

I applied in-person - interviewed at Target in October 2013.

Interview Details – I had a phone interview and then asked to wait for a call from HR to schedule 1 on 1 interview. HR called and we set up date for interview in a couple days. Was told to come in and finish assessment before I went in for interview. Showed up 30 min early to do assessment before interview. Went in and talked to lady at front desk who took me to a room to watch a video that was about 6-10 min long. After the video I went into a different room and talked to the store team leader.

Interviewed at Target

Interview Details – Applied online. Got a call maybe a week later, which went to voicemail. The woman spoke so fast I had to the listen to the message 7 times to figure out who she was and where she was calling from and what the number to call back was. I finally figured it out, called back, and I had a sort-of interview - partly I was just clarifying some information on my application (my work experience, my availability), and there was just a couple really basic interview questions.

At the end she said she'd contact me in a couple days in order to set up an actual interview.
Then two days later I got an email saying there were no positions available.
