Interview

I applied to Target online as both a cashier and sales floor representative. I was called back the next day to set up an interview. At the interview, I was asked to fill out a personality questionnaire. Then I was taken to the back and had an interview with one of the managers.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 daysinterviewed at Target in May 2014.

    Interview

Received a call for an interview a few days after applying. Went in for the interview and the interviewer asked me basic questions about availability, why I want to work at target, what my strength and weakness were. Then after that he asked me three questions (what would you do if.... Name a time when..) and told me to go wait in the break room for a second interview. 10 minutes later the interviewer came in and told me that the next person to interview me was "too busy with other interviews" and if I got a call back within the week, if not, then yeah..

    Interview

Filled out an application on line. However I did not get an interview as I believe I did not
have the available hours they were looking for during the longtemporary holiday season.I was very disappointed. If I should apply again, I will be sure to have more flexibilty with my hours so as to be screened.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Target (Overland Park, KS) in November 2013.

    Interview

The interview process was a nightmare. After getting the run around for a week, they got me in for a second interview, which was face to face. The initial interview was done over the phone. Most of the questions asked during the face to face were "what if" questions. Although I didn't get a job offer, I was kind of relieved. Actually, I know that I was overqualified! The interview process seemed really unorganized and I couldn't even imagine what it would have been like if I got hired. The manager interviewing me mentioned that they had several team members leave so, they were looking to add more cashiers for the upcoming holidays. Hmm, I wonder why!?

I applied in-person – interviewed at Target in October 2013.

    Interview

I had a phone interview and then asked to wait for a call from HR to schedule 1 on 1 interview. HR called and we set up date for interview in a couple days. Was told to come in and finish assessment before I went in for interview. Showed up 30 min early to do assessment before interview. Went in and talked to lady at front desk who took me to a room to watch a video that was about 6-10 min long. After the video I went into a different room and talked to the store team leader.
