I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Target.

Went to a career fair on college grounds. Talked to a recruiter and had an interview the next day. Three behavioral questions and that was it. Was kind of difficult because you had to impress the interviewer with only three questions. Did a pretty job. Got back to me in a week and passed the first round and was supposed to go do on-site interview. Have yet to hear back from them. Overall, process was simple and ok.

It was mostly behavioral questions. The recruiters and everyone I talked to from Target were really great and very personable. Even with my phone interview, they were very nice and make me feel very comfortable.

Started with an email contact to setup a initial phone interview followed by a second phone interview with three STAR based interview questions. In between the two phone interviews you will be asked to complete a 60 minute online assessment on personality and skills. After this process you will be asked to come to the distribution center if chosen to continue the interview process with a group interview and additional STAR based interview questions.

    Interview Details

Initial phone interview was pretty standard. Tell me about yourself. Why are you interested in the position. The second phone interview asks 3 behavior based questions. Use the STAR method. Situation Task Action Results. Moving onto the 3rd on site interview. Will post afterwards. Most difficult question was how do you motivate your team.

Phone interview for fit, online aptitude exam and personality test, then in-office interview. Went well, very accommodating. Ended up chatting with recruiter about other locations...none were very good but DC's usually aren't. They reimburse for travel and expenses.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at Target in November 2014.

    Interview Details

Went through 2 phone interviews before going to a distribution center for a 3rd round interview. The first phone interview was less than 5 minutes and hardly consisted of more than asking me to tell them about myself. I then went through an hour long online assessment before having my 2nd phone interview which ran through my resume and asked several behavioral questions. The final in person interview was identical to the 2nd phone interview with an HR rep. I was interviewing for an internship so I interviewed with one person, entry level candidates were interviewed by two.

Very professional process. First had phone screen with recruiter - mostly administrative and employment fact-based, with one or two "tell me about a time..." questions. Recruiter was pretty thorough in describing the role, and shared good insights about the latest environment at Target.

The hiring process is pretty standard. I applied and heard back within two weeks. The interview was very laid back and had textbook behavioral based questions. When I came in to interview, I interviewed in front of two different groups of executives. Both interviews had similar themed questions. My advice would be to save certain responses and personal experience stories because you will be speaking to two sets of people for approximately 20 minutes.
