    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Chicago, IL).

    Interview

Came in around 11 PM, had two interviews. 2nd interview I believe was with the Team Lead. Most of the questions were basically situational questions that I was involved with in the past and what you learned from it. Nothing regarding pay, just availablity and hours that would be potentially worked. After the interview was told I would get a phone call tomorrow regarding my status.

    Overnight Flow Team Member Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Fishers, IN) in July 2015.

    Interview

I applied online and got a call 2 days later to set up an interview. I arrived on time but it still took about 20 minutes for the first person to come see me. I interviewed with two different people and each took about 15 minutes. They were both nice and pretty laid back which helped with the nerves a little. They asked about my availability first and then the usual 4-5 interview questions. The questions were pretty similar both times and fairly easy to answer. After all that I went into a lady's office to sign some papers and talk about when and where orientation will be.

    Overnight Flow Team Member Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Target.

    Interview

Very easygoing and basic. Typical questions about your personal background, goals, and skills as well as some additional questions pertaining to information you provided on your application. The interview took about 15-20 minutes and was in two parts; the first part was with the HR Team Leader and the second was with the Flow Team Leader who happened to be in during the day and I was under the impression that was a rare occasion and a fluke. Don't bother worrying about being impeccably groomed and dressed for a position like this or you will look uptight and like an idiot, as I did. I spoke with coworkers and most said just a clean button down and slacks will suffice. They typically hire you on the spot because they are so desperate for people to take this awful position.

    Overnight Backroom Team Member Interview

Anonymous Employee in North Wales, PA

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Target (North Wales, PA) in June 2015.

    Interview

Began by applying online and within days an email asked if I would want to speak about the opportunities. I replied by email and was told to call to schedule an appointment for a phone interview. The phone interview went smoothly with a friendly overnight manager. He asked a few situational and behavioral questions and my availability. Immediately scheduled a face-to-face interview a couple days later. I arrived 10 minutes early and wore dress clothes with a tie. I was told to wait in the break room and waited 30 minutes over of the scheduled appointment time. The interview was shorter than my phone interview and only had a couple more situational and behavioral questions. I got an email days later saying I was no longer considered for the position. My best guess why I didn't get the position is either because, I told them I had to cut my days for college to only weekends after summer or since I had no job experience. But job experience usually isn't a problem for target.

    Interview

The questions were pretty simple but I didn't like the vibe of the interviewer. And you would think that the interviewer would be happy or at least smile. And my interview was at 9pm .

If you pass the quick screening at the kiosk, you'll be asked into an interview with a team lead right away. If you don't pass questionnaire at the kiosk, that's where your interview process ends. If I remember correctly, a team lead can hire you right away or pass you onto another interview with an Executive Team Lead if they're unsure.

Merchandise Flow Team Member Overnight Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target (Redondo Beach, CA) in May 2015.

    Interview

Applied and received a call regarding my application only a week later. They left a message and I called back and was offered an interview early Monday morning. Got to target before it opened so I rang the doorbell at employee entrance. Was greeted and led to a bench to sit and wait. Was lead through the break room/ offices to a training classroom setting where I watched a quick less than 5minute video about what the back room job looked like. Was then taken to an office and interviewed with not HR but instead two members of the overnight team (I think I was supposed to interview with HR but she wasn't available). My interviewers seemed more nervous than me. I made it comfortable by offering small talk while I filled out paper work. They asked me about myself and then a number of situational questions. They gave me time to answer, but coming up with answers on the spot was sometimes hard. Full interview was probably 30mins. Left feeling alright, if anything I thought my not so open schedule would be a problem. I got a call back the next day and was offered the job at $9.75/hr pending my background check. Will go to orientation once the bg check goes through. HR that called to offer was really friendly.
