Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Sacramento, CA Mar 2013 – Reviewed Mar 28, 2013
Interview Details – I initially heard about the job opening through one of my friends who was a pharmacy technician at the Target Pharmacy. She told me to apply online and to come in and drop off my resume to the pharmacy manager; that way, the manager can put face to name when she sees my application. After applying online and dropping off my resume, I was told by the pharmacy manager to wait for HR to contact me to set up an interview. It took about a month after I applied to finally get an interview. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and I was interviewed by the pharmacy manager as well as another pharmacist that worked there. The questions were all scenario-based and then there were a few paperwork that needed to be done afterwards. HR contacted me two weeks after my interview and I was offered the position.

Interview Details – I put in my application online, and then stopped by to make sure they knew who I was. People seemed friendly, and hardworking. The interview had 2 parts- one by the team leader and another by the pharmacist. They both involved situational questions that asked to describe previous situations that described certain leadership qualities. I don't recall the questions, but some were more general and others asked for more specific answers.
Interview Question – Give an example of a time you were frustrated, and how you dealt with that. Answer Question
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Westborough, MA May 2011 – Reviewed Jun 6, 2011
Interview Details – I went to the interview an hour early and they started it right away, they asked me scenario questions about how in the past have i reacted to certain situations or to tell them a time about when i accomplished my goals. Then they asked if I could stick around to talk to someone else, someone higher on the chain talked to me about any questions I had for him and then told me what the job would entail and salary rage. Then they passed me off to someone else who was head of the department and hiring, we just talked about where i lived and it was close to him and we just had a friendly conversation, it was like he was trying to fnd out the kind of person i was. I was totally confortable throughout the whole thing, and I was suprised i talked to three people. They gave me paperwork "in case i was to get hired" so i wouldnt have to drive back there and they informed me i was to get a phone interview with an HR. The NEXT day they called and tried to set up an interview, I was going to be busy the next day so i had to postpone for 4 days. And i received the phone call just basic questions, and a few days later got offered the job. Over all it was a great experience, they were kind and down to earth guys.

Interview Details – Initially, I talked to a target pharmacist about position openings and was encouraged to apply for the pharmacy technician position. My first interview, thereafter, was about two weeks later. The pharmacist I talked to about the opening interviewed me and inquired about my knowledge of the profession and asked many questions thar pertained to the tasks of technicians. Afterwards I had two more interviews by employees outside the pharmacy, they mainly asked questions about my personality and gave me scenario based questions. After about two more weeks I was hired as a pharmacy clerk and about a month after that I was a state licensed pharmacy technician.

Interview Details – I knew someone who worked at the pharmacy and they referred me. The manager told me to fill out an application and that HR would contact me. I followed up but they told me they were still reviewing the application. A month passed and they application expired so I was told to fill out a new one. About a week later I got a call and was scheduled an interview that week for a one on one. When I went in I had to fill out a personality test which took about 15 mins. Then A woman started to interview me and she was really nice and made jokes and made the atmosphere comfortable. After about 20 mins of questions another guy came in who seemed like a supervisor and asked me more questions for about a half an hour. He was a little more intimidating. After the questions were done he hired me on the spot and brought in the paperwork for me to fill out.

Interview Details –
I walked into the store and applied at their kiosk. It's a pretty lengthy application. They ask the basics, such as your job history, references (names, phone numbers), education, available start/end dates of employment, and then there's the length personality test . Towards the end of the application, don't click the "Ok " button repeatedly past all of the screens or else you might miss the instruction to pick up the red phone (located next to the computer) to schedule an interview. They might ask you to come in to do the interview on the spot.
In the interview, you can expect all the basic questions, such as why did you apply for employment at Target, why do you think we should hire you what is your greatest strength/weakness, explain a situation in which you had a problem with a co-worker and how you handled it, your proudest achievement, etc.
The people are laid back, but professional. The work culture is very team-oriented.
