Executive Team Leader - Logistics at Target

No Offer – Interviewed in Jan 2011 – Reviewed Jan 19, 2011

Interview Details – Its all about situational questions. Everything they ask is tell me about a time when this happened....You have to be prepared to have great examples in past positions on how you handled difficult situations, completed tasks quickly, had to mentor employess, etc. Both the phone interview and the 1:1 consisted of about 4 of these types of questions with the only difference being that in the 1:1 the interviewer started by asking the questions of "tell me about yourself..." and "why do you want to work for Target?"

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Oct 2010 – Reviewed Oct 8, 2010

Interview Details – I applied at a Career fair on campus. I got a call 3 days later for an interview with a Senior ETL. All behavioral questions, with some follow up questions after each. I was invited for a second interview with regional managers next week, but from what i have read, they will also consist of behavioral questions.

Interview Question – Who have you influenced in the past? and in what way?   Answer Question

Executive Team Leader - Logistics at Target

No Offer – Interviewed in Aug 2010 – Reviewed Aug 11, 2010

Interview Details – Just like the other comments on this site, I applied online and in about 2 weeks, received a call from a recruiter who asked me some general questions and a few behaviorial-based questions. Scheduled a 1:1 interview with local office. At local office, interviewed by two store managers and the DM. I prepared rather well for answering behaviorial questions and believed that I did well in the interview. I am 39 with some experience and the people interviewing me were clearly younger than I was, so, in conjunction with reading some of the comments on this site, I concluded that I would likely not get an offer, even though I am well-qualified and felt I did well with the interviews. I treated the entire experience as a good "practice" interview for other jobs that I plan to interview for. I have always been and will continue to be a Target shopper though! :)
