I applied online and the process took 5 days - interviewed at Target in May 2012.

Interview Details – 1 interview & drug test. Interview was easy. I think they asked why I wanted to work. I think they asked me to explain how i would deal with an unhappy guest or tell them about a time I had dealt with a problem situation and how I would go about fixing the problem.

I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at Target in August 2013.

Interview Details – There are initially 2 interviews the first interview I received was with the team lead of the front end and the second was with the human resources team lead. They ask the basics such as why do you want to work for this company and what certain words mean to you. I would say the crucial part was making sure you can break the barrier with the first interviewer so as long as the interviewee strives to work hard or is very sincere in their willing to learn as well as quality to lead

Interview Question – The questions are not difficult its more about how your previous job or experiences will match what they are looking for in their employees there is no specific because most of the time they ask something like what past experiences do you have that you think would be beneficial to this job. How do you answer that question? Tell them about what customer service or what you did in school that helps others of that sort   Answer Question

I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Target in September 2013.

Interview Details – First interview is your typical interview, they ask you questions about previous work history, why do you want to work at Target and a lot of "situation" questions (one on the phone, one in person). Then they have you come back in for a short multiple choice question test. The last step is signing a contract saying you'll follow the rules and show up to work sober.

Interview Question – From a previous job, have you ever made a mistake? How did you handle it?   View Answer

Negotiation Details – I signed a paper saying I could work the hours they gave and I would start at $10.00 and hour (minimum wage).

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Target in June 2013.

Interview Details – I applied online on the target website. I was worried because I'd never had an on-the-books job before and usually companies don't even look at me However, about two days later, I received a phone call by the HR department and we set up an interview for the next week! I went in for the interview and talked to a couple Team Leads, and it felt more like a conversation than a pressured interview. I was offered the job after talking to the team leads (supposedly I was supposed to watch this video and get asked about it but they goofed on that one) and had to take a urine drug test within 24 hours. Since I passed that, I became a cashier at Target for the summer.

Interview Question – Behavioral questions were awkward since I didn't have a lot of experience, especially when they asked if there was a time where I worked with an unbearable person and how I resolved the situation. They were very patient, so it still was not pressured.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – There wasn't really negotiation, they offered an hourly wage of $9 and I happily took it.

I applied online and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Target in November 2013.

Interview Details – The interview process was a nightmare. After getting the run around for a week, they got me in for a second interview, which was face to face. The initial interview was done over the phone. Most of the questions asked during the face to face were "what if" questions. Although I didn't get a job offer, I was kind of relieved. Actually, I know that I was overqualified! The interview process seemed really unorganized and I couldn't even imagine what it would have been like if I got hired. The manager interviewing me mentioned that they had several team members leave so, they were looking to add more cashiers for the upcoming holidays. Hmm, I wonder why!?

Interview Question – I thought the interview were pretty straightforward!   Answer Question
