First a written aptitude test. The ones who passed that went for an interview. Only one interview, which had a technical person and a HR person.
    Technical interview was pretty basic.
HR interview was more tough. Had a lot of questions trying to trip you up regarding professional choices and working full time as a woman.

    Interview Questions

    • Asked to write a complete class and explain each line. Then I was questioned about what will happen if certain changes were made in certain places.   Answer Question

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Tata Consultancy Services in October 2014.

    Interview

First there was an aptitude a email writing round. Post that the interview process started. 10 interview panel at one place, clumsy surroundings when 40 people talking at the same time. Random selection also happened. They just don't care about your C. V. Three person asking different question to same person at the same time, which one should one answer first! Overall it was a waste of day.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took a weekinterviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Thane (Australia)) in August 2014.

    Interview

indepth technical round with a panel consisting 2 techys bombarding questions on me continuously for around 30-45 minutes.
It was then followed by a manager round who catched me in the tricky questions (nothing technical) All he asked was about why you want to join TCS, why are you leaving current org, what are you expecting, etc...
This was then followed by a formal HR round to discuss your salary needs etc.
